First Nightmare of 2015
 

I think I'm gonna writing this blog once I completely wake up, once my brain isn't in the stupid state. But oh well, it's probably gonna be funny to some of you guys so I'm willing to sacrifice my face to make the days of some people.

The dream started off by me waking up in the morning, so that already didn't trigger me thinking it was a dream. Everything was normal and fine, like what I would do every morning, until finally there's something different from the norm. I saw 2 people whom I know IRL (nothing to do with the dream), and I'm like, what the hell are they doing in my house? Then somehow a few minutes later I got to know that DemiLove was going to Europe for an unknown period of time (not to be confused with the one where he is really going to Europe soon), together with NaNiwa (he's important in this dream). I was like, wow great, happy for DemiLove.

Then all of a sudden, I got to know that I'm going with them for some reason. I forgot who told me, might be Nem, pretty sure it was Nem, and I think it was something to do with like being their manager over there in Europe or something. Sounds pretty stupid now that I'm awake. I was really, really, taken by surprise and I thought I was just going for a few days, so I was fine with it. I recall I didn't even have time to tell my mum I was leaving the country and I quickly packed some stuff (literally just like two sets of clothes maybe lmao) and quickly drove to the airport (wait what I don't have my own car).

So along the journey there were some retarded things that happened, nothing to do with the main story. If you wanna skip to the main part of the story, skip this paragraph. Okay, so I stopped by some shop and bought tea (I never do that, don't know why would I), and I can't really remember the details. As the dream went on, I think it was at the airport where I put my tea in my bag and then nek minute I realised my whole bag was soaked in tea (LOL). Yeah see, I told you, nothing to do with the main story.

Okay on to the main story, so I get to the airport (I think it was already Europe side, wow such dream didn't even need flight), then I get to know that I'll actually be here for a month, until 25 Feb. I look at my luggage and I'm like, what the hell how am I gonna live in this place for a month with just 2 sets of clothes? Also, I have exams on the day I go back to Singapore, and I didn't bring anything over to study. So I knew I had to do something about it. I quickly texted Nem and asked if she was gonna come, and turns out, not surprisingly, she actually was gonna come too (I think yeah because she was the one who told me to go to Europe anyway). I asked if she could drop by my house and I'll tell my mum to pack more shit AND all my study shit as well. Yay good that she agreed.

Now, for the next few "hours" in my dream it was just settling down in some house with DemiLove and NaNiwa. Since I had the visual and audio knowledge in my brain for both people I was able to re-create them in my dream quite realistically enough. I was just talking more to Demi the whole time because I talk to him a lot anyway. During this whole time, it was still quite realistic as I was busy with stuff and almost always barely missing Nem's texts about questions she had about what stuff to ransack from my house etc. Also I was having an uneasy feeling because I know my parents were worried for me that I suddenly left house to board a flight, for some reason they wouldn't understand, and now the duration changed from a few days to a month. Poor parents. At least they didn't need to pay for the flight .

Then the next thing that happened, I went back to the airport to pick up my stuff. Demi came along with me, and like, all of a sudden, my dad is now here too! Then he starts complaining and all about how I'll be here for a month and my exams are coming etc. etc., how I'm gonna miss lessons and I told him everything will be fine.

Next moment, I'm back at the house and now my dad's here too. So the next big thing that happened was, my dad suddenly disappeared. That's where I thought, omg this is a dream, quickly spoil the dream for myself! Keep in mind that everything still felt very real and I still doubted if this was a dream, because you know, that's how dreams work. The only thing near me that I could "manipulate" was NaNiwa, just sitting there and being quiet like he was the whole dream. So me and Demi (not sure why Demi too) started yelling and shouting at him, and questioning him "WHO ARE YOU?" and stuff like that. Then he just sat there and like "what the hell it's not me what are you guys talking about" etc..

Then when we gave up, I went down to some open area, outside the house. It was kinda like a field, with two buildings, one on my left, one on my right. The left building looked like some abandoned place, very dilapidated, and the right was like some dining room or something, with some people inside I recognise. Then lo and behold, I saw Nem, and together with her were some dudes, and a little girl. We exchanged greetings and stuff and like yay, I finally got my stuff. Next minute, the girl screams (maybe because she saw Demi ) and runs into the old building on my left. Someone from my side (idk who it was) quickly ran and tried to stop the girl from entering the building, but she already did.

After that guy went in, chaos started to unfold. I think Nem said some words that appeared to be an order, and next minute a group of dudes dressed like triads or yakuza stood up and killed everyone in that room with knives and swords and shit. I wasn't sure what happened to Demi but from here on he doesn't appear in my dream anymore. I freaked out and I know some dudes were coming after me, so I quickly ran back into the house (so smart) and tried to find stuff to defend myself or something. Then of course the inevitable happened, I think the method the people were using to kill us is by slow death, stabbing one part of your body at a time or something. I saw a guy getting stabbed twice in the abdomen, and nek minute I realised my legs were ded gaem because I wasn't looking out for myself. Then now I'm lying on the floor, and this guy is holding a pole and about to stab me in my abdomen. I struggle and hold the pole and tell myself to wake up, and yay I woke up.

Moral of the story: Don't go to Europe if Nem asks you to.

I'm really good at finding out what dreams mean. Trust me, mate.

You feel stressed and anxious, and this is showing in the imagery that your mind is projecting in your dreams. You feel like you're being choked out, some kind of force in your real life is causing you severe mental stress and pain.

In response to this pain, your mind feels the need to reach out and draw in characters that you associate with a state of happiness, things that you enjoy. Your mind grabs on to the images of Naniwa and Demilove, two characters you admire and associate with good, pleasant feelings. You probably enjoy their personalities or play styles, and you feel an element of closeness with them.

An evil force, represented here by Nem (You see that you don't necessarily remember that it IS Nem, that's because who represents this force isn't necessarily important, but rather it is the evil nature of this force that is important) guides you to be closer to your idols (Naniwa and Demilove). The reason why this force is evil will be revealed later.

Your dad's arrival in the story is interesting, and I suspect it has something to do with the stress you were feeling at the start of this post. I won't go into too much detail here because I feel it might get too intimate.

When you verbally attack Naniwa with Demilove's support, that is a knock-on effect of the initial "evil force" (represented by Nem), where you begin to question that which previously made you happy. Your questioning of "WHO ARE YOU?" might be better translated as "WHO AM I?", as we begin to delve deeper into your sub-conscious mind and your current identity crisis.

Your association with Nem as your evil driving force is interesting. It's possible that she is a character who causes you stress or pain. Perhaps you feel some sort of deep-seated hatred for her, or perhaps on the other side of the scale, some kind of fiery lust that drives your heart to the very edge knowing that being the confused (later explained) man(? later explained) you are, you will never be able to win her heart and affections.

As we get towards the end, we see the dream begin to disintegrate into some meaningless gibberish. This is probably due to your conscious mind creeping in and realizing you are in a dream state, and subtly manipulating your sub-conscious mind into changing it to be some kind of shitty B-rated action horror film with wobbly cameras and a budget of sub-$100.

My conclusions from this are, undoubtedly correct: You harbour a feeling of discontent for your father's expectations of you. You say to him that you are able to focus and complete your studies as he wishes, yet you secretly doubt your ability to do so. You probably feel some kind of sexual fantasy to a close family member, friend, or pet. The reason I say pet here is because of your identity crisis part-way through this dream, where your mind devolves into shambles as it attempts to piece together fragments of who you feel yourself to be. At this stage, anything is possible for how you could feel. You may come out the other end, simply identifying as a female, or something more drastic such as declaring yourself to be dogkin, squirrelkin, bananakin, pumpkinkin, etc. The possibilities are endless.

No problem mate. While you're there, I suggest you also bring up the nightmares you've been having about the Hamburglar. I know it's a tough thing to work through, but you need re-assurance than a man isn't going to come and steal you away in the night.

Nem's slowly infiltrating our dreams and killing us one by one... now that she's mod no one can remove her influence on our lives either. Game over everyone. Game over.

In all seriousness, lucid dreaming is ******* amazing and I HIGHLY recommend recording it like this. Even in a word doc or something.
I remember having such a realistic dream once that I woke up in tears and couldn't move for 1-2 hours, then I was on edge for a few days and scared of every sound and everyone talking to me haha.

Dreams are... interesting.

On the topic of dreams, I was struggling recently to remember a password for a website I hadn't logged into for years. I tried for a few days to remember the password to no avail. Then, one night, I had a dream where I typed in the password and logged in. I tried the password I used in the dream, and it was correct. Dreams are pretty cool.

I love when dreams come true Satu, i once had a wet dream that had Frustration with his bitches at stereo sonic. He was placing them on his shoulders and making love with so many hot girls who all appreciated his amazing SC2 skills and fine cabinets he manufactures.

According to Freud at least (and definitely not on par with contemporary scientific studies) but dreams were about the wish-fulfilment of the conscious coming to light in the Unconscious. Usually this had a erotic relationship (as everything in Freud) but it was also about the overcoming of conflicts that plagued you in your Conscious state (or when you are awake).

But "Dream Interpretation" is difficult given the condescension of the symbolic, or the idea that symbols don't have one particular meaning in dreams but may have an over-determination of different interpretations.
