Happy 4th Bday StarCraft
 

This game has affected us all in some way. For me, it has forever changed my perspective of gaming and the people who play them. I am currently living in Europe in a team house. I am surrounded by people who view this as their job. Had someone told me I'd end up here I would have laughed and directed them to a mental institute.

Four years ago, I met a dude with big glasses who liked to play computer games. Its amazing how the current of life sweeps you to unexpected places and experiences.

How has StarCraft affected you?

To be Honest, Starcraft 2 didn't affect me for one bit. Just another game.

Well for you (and anyone else) it's good how Starcraft 2 affects you in a positive way!

a large part of my identity is based around the fact I play starcraft. I suppose it's affected me a lot.

I haven't played the game in probably over a year now. I also hate 50% of the community.

Yet I find myself still attending events and surfing sc2sea.com. Starcraft has definitely become a part of who I am regardless of whether I dislike it. Feels a lot longer than 4 years.

Starcraft is basically who I am, its been in my life for about 14 years now and wouldn't have it any other way!

Starcraft is my other lover

We fight and disagree from time to time as any relationship that goes for 4 years but the passion and romance remains consistent even after all this time

StarCraft does what no other game has been capable of; making me happy

When i'm down I just watch or play starcraft, and interact with the community of it, and my god.. i feel a true belonging to this game/community ~ The feeling when you coach someone to finally get that elusive promotion is second only to actually getting those magical promotions yourself

This game really plays the heartstrings sometimes, and i don't mind at all

I remember that time in november 2010 when my friends were like "hey, buy this game". I said okay.

Now here we are.

I've made countless good friends because of Starcraft, which is a good thing.

However, I also met Namakaye in real life because of Starcraft, and that's a bad thing.

To get all the Portraits in Starcraft 2 at once:
1) Make/Create a Custom game, verse AI.
2) Start the Game.
3) In the Loading Screen, press cancel.
4) On the Score Screen, click "Play Again"
Now you got all the portraits.

Nice and fast way, that I know of. Took me about few minutes to get all the portraits on all regions

NOTE: If you do that it will count as a lost (only shows error and 0 Minutes 0 Seconds) in your match history if you don't select "No Match History" in the privacy part.
