My experience in Intel Extreme Masters Sao Paulo was extremely fun unfortunately, I didn't win a game but still made it to the second round with a walkover in the first. This was my first big tournament and I'm happy with my effort.

Round of 32:
In the first round I had to vs Bistork, a player from Hong Kong, Unfortunately he didn't show up till PiG and myself started playing in round of 16.

Round of 16:
Game1: I came up against one of SEA's finest, Exile5 PiG. In the first game of this ZvZ matchup I went for a jerry build while PiG went for Ling bane. After the first engagement I put PiG into a tight position managing to run into his mineral line and taking out a few drone but PiG held really well and managed to kill all my lings and then counter attacked me with a few lings and banes, which resulted in PiG winning the first game.

Game2: I went for a 10 pool to plant a spine crawler on PiG's creep but his overlord saw the spine and luckily for PiG he got an early pool too. He managed to kill my spine and lings, I then attacked with a few lings but PiG with banes and speeding Vs my slowing lings were to good to even get hurt. PiG followed up with a ling attack which force me to call GG.

Result: 2-0 to PiG.

Round of 16(Losers Bracket):
Game1: I came up against one of the best players in India, DemiLove, Yet again another ZvZ. In which this game, we both went for ling bane but with the master zerg, DemiLove getting really nice hits with banes and just out mirco'ing me. He took the first game out comfortably once he made the transition into muta just before I did, putting myself in a the worst position possible.

Game2: Yet again, like in PiG's game I went for the 10 pool a spine crawler on DemiLoves creep but I put it in the wrong position meaning he could see it. He managed to kill my spine and lings then followed up with a roach ling attack later on. As I tried, I couldn't hold the push and that was GG.

Result: 2-0 to DemiLove.
