Everyone got demoted this season, same as last season. I know that some masters ended up in gold and played against people labelled bronze but are clearly plat. Good luck in league restricted tourneys for the next week or two. Hopefully it sorts itself out soon enough. I think there is also a big increase in cheese and all ins atm as well as people try to rank back up as quickly as possible. Hopefully this isn't an every season thing.

I played 5 games last season in plat, played 1 game this season still in plat. No demotion for me outside of MMR decay for not playing for 3 months.

I had an 80% winrate last season and got demoted on all servers.

I always get demoted at the start of a season and its normally straight into bronze.

What might help is a total MMR Flush and start over again... keep your regular games played wins and all that jazz.. but start from 0 or base rating is 1500?? i can't remember the specifics now... damn chess algarythms

According to the MMR tracker (it's been effective in my usage so..) the base is 0 with Masters being between 1300 - 1600 MMR

To put things back on topic so it won't be closed, I've been placed in

in KR, same as what I ended with a couple of games at the end of the season. Now I played a bit to get to

and been stuck there after 36 games. My MMR actually dipped below the

promotion line and I'm wondering why am I so bad ;-;

I heard that going up leagues is harder now? Like you need to play more games in order to go up.
Purely because people used to go up sometimes; not truly belong there and never be demoted until next season.

Yeah, I was Diamond last season and got demoted to Gold this season! Oh well, just got promoted to Masters so i'm pretty happy about that! Made my way up from Gold with a record of 64-20 so far
