SEA Blizzcon, quick write up.
 

SEA blizzcon was ******* amazing, and this is coming from someone who spent the whole weekend somewhat bitter/depressed about not playing (grumble). I think there's probably enough coverage (or there's going to be) about the event and I'm not going to talk about it too much so I'll condense to highlights and shoutouts.

An arseload of media folk showed up throughout, taking interviews, photos, doing segments, including some folk from something called Save Point, quite a few Blizzard folk (lan please next time?). E-sports friends, in Australia! We've made amazing gains in just one year. It's happening people, and you're seeing it.

RedArchon of team MiTH (= not myth, Made in Thailand. LOL!), despite knowing extremely limited English was really jolly the whole time. Look forward to the next time we meet sir! I shall have to practice my Broodwar though.

CityhunterChris and Benji. You guys make for good management. More folks like you means more e-sports.

Dox, Paz, Del and riichard; the admins/other casters. Constantly on top of shit, updating stuff, organising things and keeping things running extremely smoothly. Well done sirs! I didn't spend much time listening to the casting but from what I see you guys did a very good job.

TA. A huge turnout and you ain't even playing. Love for TA, you ******* scoundrels you. Also everyone else who showed up, but TA were definitely the most fun.

Glade for being gentlemanly as usual and for being a very good friend these past few months.

xGKing Light, Mafia and Jazbas. I haven't known you all for too long and I don't too much about you all (particularly Jazbas) but I'm extremely proud of all of you. Really. 2nd, 3rd and 5th/6th was a ******* amazing result, and if you look at the games we played we only lost to each other or Glade, beating all the vT matchups (you know, that shit I help them with). What's good for any of us is good for all of us, and **** I'm proud of this team. Knock 'em down Jazbas, FOR THE KING(s)!

JacziE, the main lady behind it. None of this wouldn't of happened if it weren't for her so the final, and obviously most important praise goes to her. Hotels, flights, players, food, location, stream, casting, prizes, blizzard marketing, actually abiding working with del for more then 3 consecutive minutes (hah!), she took care of all of that and the final result was brilliant. You are a beautiful, amazing person JacziE, and I do look forward to meeting you again sometime. One thing though, can I be playing next year please ?!
