My IEM Stage 1 experience

get in channel at 6:30pm thinking that's when the tournament began.

First series i vs a noname from Singapore

turns out hes not bad
.
.
.
.
turns out hes most likely hacking and i lose 1-2
.
.
.
turns out hes Korean
.
.
.
turns out hes born in 1969 and thinks hes 49 years old.

Edit: He was DQed and i offered to still play the lower bracket to not f over spud who has been waiting all this time at the quarter finals for the delays.
so now i have to play from the losers bracket, time for my next opponent...

Edit: Ended up going undefeated through lower bracket... luckily the pain was worth it

pummblebee confirmed killing esports. Makes me log on sc2 for the first time in 3 months to help fill the bracket for this. Forgets the key detail that I have to sign up on the website first.Too much effort.

No blame to you mate -- you know I have always appreciated the work you put in, and you sure as hell try your best to accommodate everyone. However, it's not really something I'd be up to discuss - historically, IEM tournaments have always been extremely difficult due to how they're set up.

Yeah I played a korean smurf too, kinda annoying. But I wasn't upset, the games were close and he played well, it seemed like hacking might have been an issue too (production tab hacking at least). Oh wells.

Bad luck Rossi, sorry to hear you went through the same thing.
