Why so Serious?

I was just playing Arcade in NA server, to be more specific the "Aeon of the Storm" game. It was my first time to tried to play the game (so i can learn while i Play).

He just calls me a noob ingame (and he typed "-surrender" the game seem to be ended) and i received the below private message:

One might expect Arcade side of things in Starcraft2 was suppose to be fun and entertaining side. He Just take it so serious.

So, has anyone experience this or similar to this (no matter what game it is)?

It will make it interesting and entertaining for people to hear your tale

So, do share your experience with us

is that one of those dotastyle games? People take them really seriously.

arcades full of shitters anyway, once had a guy telling me to kill myself cos i suck at gem td.

Yeah i think it similar to Dota...i also haven't played Dota before...it's just a game...lol...it's just funny how they react like that.

Artfulstory time!

I've personally only ever come across 1 bm person who really was just a bad seed. Full on swearing and putting me down from the start of the game (I didn't even get to smash him with my mutas yet, tehe), I think I might have responded by asking what he's talking about, but kept my replies to a minimum (because why bother responding to idiots like them, right?!?!!). This was in silver league at the time, so like what the actual EFF?! why so mad bro?? I held his pushes so he didn't get far and his response to my holds was to tell me I'm bad, you know the typical bm bs. He was terran so he did the typical "hur dur i'm going to float my buildings to the corners so you don't find them". Too bad for him I didn't let him get that far (tehe).

The best thing about this was that this game led to my promotion to gold!!!! I won fair and square, felt like I achieved what I set out to do and that was to play solidly. The greatest satisfaction to date in sc2 that I got to feel.

So what got me red in the face with a bit of anger turned into the biggest satisfying victory that far out weighed any bm. I tried thanking him for getting my promotion but he already ignored me at that point. Sucks to be him.

TL;DR being BM only keeps you behind and leads others to victory.

I use to get really upset when I meet BM in games. I still get and meet BM and some of them are pretty bad but I am not as upset anymore. One reason why I have the mature filter still on cos not actually seeing the actual words helps makes me less angry and upset at such people.

Just makes me all the more wanting to squash them and make them even more mad.

Rather than you just BM the player and not be helpful to them, than that player is a burden to them. So it makes no sense not to just to help them out on their own benefit. Beside if you BM the player, they probable just purposely make you lose and not try to win.

i have experienced it in TSS (The Star Strikers) when i used to be bad and new (im still kinda bad haha) it's stupid its just a game -_-
