Failure to uphold a place to live
 

Okay so after a massive blowout tonight, there is a good chance I'm now out on the streets of North Brisbane

What Happened:
The course of today was much like every other day, I woke up cleaned, since its monday I do a full clean of the house, bathroom,kitchen and and then vacuum. Also did my course reading in the morning, i did all this cleaning etc while everyone else went down to a swimming hole, I did the cleaning without complaints.

Again it's monday, so it was my turn to cook, it was a BBQ after slaving over a BBQ for 80 minutes for feeding 14 people, i recieved no thank you as usual. The rule in the house is "you cook, you clean" i finished 3rd out of the 14ppl, cleaned what i could and went to my room in wait of when they would finish, over heard the youngest daughter (my brothers fiance) mention the house rule, i walked out and just let them know I would clean once everyone had finished so i could do it properly.

This then broke out into her yelling at me because i was being disrespectful with the words of you need to be out within a week.

So yeah I got a week and then im fukn scared :S :S

I don't mean to intrude on your personal stuff, but what the **** kind of household are you living in? There is a blatant lack of equality here, you're being treated like complete and utter garbage. Are you living with your parents or is someone looking after you? You're being treated like a slave while everyone else just exploits you. It's complete and utter shit. Good riddance to them if you get kicked out, finding a place to stay will be hard, but if you can manage it then you'll be much better off for it.

im living with my brothers fiances parents, because my brother wanted me in brisbane as my mum is getting/is really sick atm.

You should probably move out at the soonest possible convenience and tell your brother his fiance is a bitch. Or her. Either one, in my opinion.. if my girlfriend was treating my siblings like that, she wouldn't be my girlfriend..

I have the 1 brother he lives here as well, kind of s hit situation, get asked to come up here from Adelaide and 6 weeks later getting kicked out, pretty harsh.

Did you do anything wrong initially to get all the housework dumped on you? If you didn't then every time you get asked to I'd just turn around and tell em to do it them ******* selves. my parents and myself have never got along, my parents are lets say never in the right frame of mind (drunks) so staying with them i probably would have killed myself, my brother is sticking up for her because i assume he loves her and wants her to be happy and he hates tension. so im just getting the boot and its done with

just really bad for me because now im in a place where i know no1 else and honestly id rather be dead then live with my parents again as rough as that sounds

Honestly, I don't really know what to say. If you're going to uni / tafe, attempt to find somewhere to stay for a short amount of time? Check out couchsurfing // etc. Your best bet is to probably find temporary work ASAP and work from there..

the housework is suppose to be done by anyone who isnt working, im essentially doing her share of the housework so this kind of shit didnt happen.

since i have been here 6 weeks i havent managed to get employed yet, i also study IT, which is why im not usually playing video games anymore

its her parents they are taking her side regardless, i told one of the foster kids here to calm down because she usually listens to me and apparently that was being disrespectful as well towards the daughter not the mother of the house.

1) Your brother should be doing something about this because he's the one who asked you to move up with him.

- Let him know what's going on if he's oblivious to everything that's going on
- Don't be afraid to let him know how his fiance is treating you

2) sounds like you're better off living somewhere else anyway, they are taking advantage of you.

3) reason with them and be perfectly calm when you do that

- respect is earned, not given.

I have spoken to him on multiple occasions, he just said bite your lip just say yes and agree with what anyone tells you to do, they are doing me a favour and make them feel like you belong there and make your being here easier on them not vice versa, help how ever you can.

there is no reasoning the mother come in about 30 mins ago, explained that her daughters wishes need to be met because she doesnt want her daughter to leave. the daughter said i need to be out within a week or she'll leave, obviously parents wouldnt want that.

So 11 people in the same house... is there even proper living conditions in the house?? What is the size of this house?? Seriously this is still sounding like some kind of child services/investigation of some sort. I however need more context, like how old are you and your brother?

its got 6 bedrooms in the house, its got an offsite granny flat.

the 4 foster kids are 8,7, 8months and 6 months.

my brother is 24 im 22

mind you where i was living before was 3 people in a unit paid all the bills and things were fine, me coming here was so my brother would stop begging me to come up here to be closer to my mum, who i dont even get along with, i came here for them not myself
