Just went to the Sydney Costco that got created and bought 1.2 KG of pretzels 9$, 60 reeses pieces 12$ and 60 hersheys for like 9$. and they are sooooo addictive. going to america this holidays, and tips for the best fast food chains.

I was watching a TV show the other day, titled 'Man vs Food', and he travels across America eating all of the iconic food from across the country. I'm going to be honest, most of their food looks TASTY! Let's just say i'd look like a blimp if I lived there.

I've been wanting to try White Castle burgers ever since Harold and Kumar.

I also had a craving for meatball spaghetti after watching Will Smith's Hancock which sadly led to disappointment.

I really didn't like American food much when visiting there. It tasted like they'd taken a giant syringe and injected extra sugar into everything. But then, I tend not to like sweet foods nowadays. For someone with a real sweet tooth, they may love it.

Haha yeah i really, REALLY want to try Whitecastle! zomg harold and kumar made it look so much better then sexy times!

As for american food being better? You aren't looking in the right places if you think food in sydney's bad! Though yes, Oporto is the ONLY good fast-food place in the city. And even then some of the locations make it shit.

Jumbled, I have heard that they add sugar to everything. If you want normal tasting bread you need to get 'sour' dough bread. :/

After 5 years in the US, Quiznos is my favorite. Also, if you ever make it to Rhode Island, try Capitol Grill T-bone dried steak in Providence, pure win. Best burger place I've been to was in Boston Logan airport, was a random place in between gates called "Best Burger". Captain O's gotta be the boss I guess.

I went there, it's not bad, but for my - local - point of view, that's definitely not "so much better".

I would -much- rather go to Europe (France, Italy, etc.) to find good food than the US. Maybe they do have better fast food, but fast food is pretty awful anyway.

i can get good food in restuarants in sydney, switzerland has terrible food, have fun eating cream pasta for your whole vactation. been many times

You see, where you've made a mistake is when you refer to pretzels and hershey's bars as "food".

Food, as wikipedia tells us, "is any substance consumed to provide nutritional support for the body."

So you see how you're wrong....

American FAST food's better. In terms of what you get in proper restaurants, you can't beat the 3-6 course meals served in French restaurants. French-Japanese Fusion's my favourite thus far.

I love the A&W's which sadly isn't available here in Aus... Then white castle... I really want to try the burger there. harold and kumar ftw!!!! Can't say I'm a big fan of their supersized drinks and fries but the burgers from the movie looks nice and small.. As for hersheys, and other candies.... Never really a sweet tooth myself so I'm not a fan of those junk food.

Guys forget Whitecastle - go to "Five Guys". I had a lot of American friends recommend it as the best, greasiest, and tastiest burger franchise in the country.

They werent wrong!
