Something needs to change...
 

Ok this isnt a QQ with balance but its something i'm sure almost every sc2 player on ladder has experienced and its quite frustrating.

WHEN TERRANS FLOAT THERE BASE AND FORCE A TIE

This has happened to me way too many times where i think a game is won where i smash the terran and he forces a base race and floats his barracks and/or cc or starport etc... this has also happened to Mafia when he versed a terran on ladder in ZvT and mafia destroys this Terran but then the terran finds a "sweet spot" on the tiny map to float where he cant be touched and then mafia doesn't have the resources to make A corruptor or some sort of attacking air unit to reach the floating CC. i feel like the soulution to this is potentially having a timer where you have a time limit to where you can float your base for a limited time or something along those lines. Just to prevent games ending up in draws or lasting longer to finish just because the dumb terran is herp derp floating for a tie when 9/10 times the terran should of lost.

Yeah, I hate when this happens :c and yeah, I agree, it would be cool to see a float timer which was like maybe 30 seconds shorter than the draw timer or something :c

don't base trade with a terran without stuff to kill floating buildings... you are more mobile so I don't see why it's that hard.

If it's that hard for you to kill a floating building you probably didn't "smash the terran" as hard as you think you did.

terran is less mobile in base races; it gives them more competitiveness by being able to float buildings. get rid of that mechanic and terrans are now weakened a fair amount in base races.

But seriously, its all part of the mechanics, is also a reason why I dont really base race a terran that often

dont have the resources to produce 1 muta or corrupter?

if you cant make units then obvs you didn't smash him
it's happened to a lot of people but i seriously doubt it's frustrating - for sure it's less frustrating than some cheese that hyvaa whips up
also ever heard of "never baserace a terran"

With recall these days it is a shade easier. But in wol it isn't too hard to beat T in a base trade. If u know it's coming hidden base, stargate asap should help u out lots.

This is literally my favourite thing to do as a terran. I even managed to pull it off in a competition recently.
