Travel Options to WCG Melbourne
 

I was going to include this in the WCG Melbourne thread, but I think it'll be easier to find here. For those of you attending WCG Melbourne this weekend, here's all the details you need to get there.

Registrations open at 10:00AM
You need to submit your Battle.net Name, Identifier, E-mail Address, Phone Number and $30 within 20 minutes, so be at the venue on time!


Brackets will be generated at 10:25AM
Tournament begins at 10:30! If you're running late for any reason, PM me on this site or send me a tweet. I'll be keeping an eye out.

Local travellers
The venue is at 49 Henry Street, Hawthorn. I'm pretty sure there's a little bit of parking outside, otherwise there's plenty in the area.

Interstate travellers
For those of you flying in from other cities, this is your best and fastest method of getting to the venue.

• Exit the Domestic Airport Terminal and follow the signs to the "Skybus Terminal."
• These buses take you directly to the city (~20 minutes) and leave every 10-15 minutes. In my experience they're the best and most reliable airport transit service in Australia.
• A Single Adult ticket will cost you $16.00.
• You can buy a return ticket for $26.00 and use it on your way back home.
• The bus will take you to Southern Cross Railway Station. Just follow the signs to platform 10 - it's a 2 minute walk.
• You'll walk past several ticket machines on your way to the platform - pick up a "2 hour, Zone 1" ticket - this will cost $3.80 for an Adult.
• Board any of the Belgrave or Lilydale trains - the monitors will indicate that both of these services stop at Auburn station.
• These trains depart every 15-20 minutes.
• The train trip should take 15 minutes.
• Get off the train at Auburn station, not Hawthorn. This one is actually closer to the venue.
• Follow the map below, it's just a short walk!
