hihi,
quick blog about Camtwist, FMLE and Soundflowerbed!
Does anyone have any experience with Camtwist? every time i start streaming and open starcraft it will close unexpectedly within 5-20 minutes and i dont have a clue why! I have researched it and no-one has had any problems like that with the current version. I stream with FMLE with Camtwist for video and Soundflowerbed for audio! all compatible with mac and my current mac version!
does anyone know anything that could possibly help solve this mystery? could internet be the culprit? too higher bandwith requirement? it only closes unexpectedly when starcraft is running...

It's not like he's immediately going to sell his Mac and get a Windows because you commanded so :/ I myself prefer Windows over Mac computers, but I don't like it when make silly posts like that :c

Adam, I've never used streaming software, but since I do intend to start streaming, I'll try to use those programs on my Mac to do so, and see if the same thing happens to me, and if they do and I manage to solve it, I'll tell you what I did :P I'll try looking around for other solutions beforehand, too :P

but nah, it seems to be a resources problem, shouldn't be to hard to fix.. im not 100% sure as i don't own a mac computer but is OBS or Xsplit compatible for mac computers?

Just check your ram and cpu usage while streaming and playing sc.

Did some research into that;
OBS is planned for Mac and Linux in the future, but at this point in time, it's not compatible just yet.
Xsplit, unfortunately, will not be built to support Mac, as some of its core components can not function outside of Windows.

Adam, are you sure it's CamTwist and not FMLE or anything else causing the crash?
If it's a problem with the program's resources, if you have another computer try install it on that, if it works out, you can copy over the package components from one to the other to make it work, I've fixed Skype and a couple other programs on my computer from Crashing, in that manner.

If you don't, I could try install it on my own Mac, and then if it works, put the package components in a Zip file on Mediafire or something, and you could DL it from there and replace your own package components? (when I get home of course, I don't have my Mac at school)

I am pretty sure its CamTwist causing the crash! I might install it on my brother's computer and see how it works. i just dont understand what's causing it to crash though, it only crashes when i play starcraft online! but thanks man i will have to try installing it on other computer and see how it works and then do what you suggested cheers
