Resigning from ACL

I've been running SC2 events for ACL alongside Dox last year and this year as head admin for ACL Brisbane. I just let everyone know that I've 'resigned' as such. When I started getting involved as an admin I was unemployed, looking after my daughter full time, which gave me a fair bit of freedom and free time. Since returning to work fulltime in November last year, I've had a much harder time justifying the time I spent away from my family to work with ACL.

It's been a blast to meet and know a lot of you and I'll forever have fond memories of those events, especially WCS. I'll still be lurking around from time to time and will likely still come out to local events when ACL is in town (Brisbane) as well as LanSmash.

Thanks for all the support you guys showed me while I was here!

You are one awesome dude! Most people will think, NorksWho? Cause he was the unsung hero making or help to make every ACL SC2 event roll over smoothly since the beginning.

Yeah, it's kinda sad I had no idea who this guy was. Thanks a lot mate, you don't get much publicity and it is a pretty thankless job, but you are one of the heroes going out there and getting shit sorted for the Aussie scene. We owe you a bunch.

Have HUGEEEEE respect for you man. Really nice guy and great to chat to at ACL's and Lansmash's. REALLLY appreciate all the work you always put in with these events.

So will you be leaving LANSMASH as well? or still be helping out there ?

Ahhh dude! I'm so sad we didn't get to chat properly at ACL Melbourne.

You're work admining SC2 tourneys was amazing! You're absence definitely will not go unnoticed.

did not personally know you, but always read about the great work you've done. to me it felt like you the work you did mattered to you far more than being in the limelight. I have tremendous respect for people like that.

Thanks to all for the kind words. Half makes me want to reconsider!

I'll still be at LanSmashes. I'll still come out to any local events and if the stars align away ones. Going to PAX definitely so looking forward to that.
