Just felt like typing/writing something and listen to my delicious mechanical keyboard go tappity tap so don't mind the randomness ^^


Some may have seen that the last hopes of perhaps bringing back FaDe from the dead have left me and now I look for a clan that will be good fit for me. Though no SEACL coming soon so no rush - don't want to clan jump so will take my time and assess my #options

These days I'm - apart from playing Tomb Raider and Bioshock (both awesome) - I'm still looking for work TT Don't know how many graduates are looking for work here but its tough especially as I did not do IT
Hardest thing is waking up and seeing the mail merge bullshit rejection letters and retaining the motivation to keep applying for jobs that you know will likely end with more rejection letters argh
Especially annoying is with government saying they want to employ more Asian Studies specialists and hey guess what, I did Asian Studies and have both Japanese and Korean language and cultural experience and knowledge but nup. I even tried messaging the minister for foreign affairs to no avail of course.
FML and other annoying things going on but /whinge


Since I got back from Korea I have been pretty anti social, most friends I had have moved away or just lost contact. But the other weekend I tracked down Canberra Go club and played a tournament - came second and scored myself $50 cash and a gift certificate ^^
Go is THE board game of choice in Korea yet oddly I almost never played it while over there but now getting back into. I noticed something though - Go and Starcraft are surprisingly similar. Even though I had not played or watched go much in several years I'm back to nearly my original strength and even though I have forgotten the Go equivalents of builds orders, openings and strats my mechanics have actually improved due to playing SC2! 0.o
Anyone play Go here or curious?
I want to write an article to introduce people to Go directed at starcraft players cause I find the similarities really interesting ^^

Still really looking forward to dayz standalone >.<
Last of Us and Beyond: Two Souls also look awesome.
Game of Thrones is also bloody sick and I'm really enjoying Arrow

Oh I recommend people see Sexy Evil Genius. Seth Green and Starbuck, need I say more? Its also a really interesting movie.

I used to play loads for GO..
The game gets in your head tho, I was having dreams about shapes and how I would get out of situations... Perhaps SC2 pro's get the same thing?

Now that I think about it after reading this blog, a guy from work said Go is a really interesting game. Curious as to how the game the game works TBH after the dude from work raving on and on about it.

i suck at playing go, but ive watched a fair amount of it, once you realise whats going on, you can see their mad multitasking skills, planning way ahead. its good.
