A Pointless and worthless day invented by Hersheys Confectionary Co and Joining forces with Teleflora Florists and Corbans Wine Makers just so they can profit out of Wine, Cholocates and Flowers, while single people suffer at the clutches of the hands of this evil and corrupt capitalist-orientated day that is not even a ******* holiday period.

Valentines Day should be banned and all those celebrating it shot.

... or so Urban Dictionary would have you believe (source).

I'll be honest the idea that there's one day every 356/6 days that we should show huge romantic gestures to our loved ones is indeed a bit of an off concept (it should be all the time) however I personally am thrilled to be joining in the over commercialised "holiday" that is Valentines day and so my wallet will suffer a fate worse than steam sales.


In celebration of me losing this weeks pay I would like to help all those in a similar unfortunate circumstance by pasting pictures of valentines cards and wallpapers exploiting our nerdy and romantic fantasies ^_^ (I encourage group participation too ).

But at the same time be reminded that I royally (*************************************)n up my relationship last year, and that now I am forever alone.

On another note, I do wish everyone else having a valentine to have a lovely celebration because they do deserve it. So treat your other half (or other half-to-be) right and you shall be rewarded with the love that you deserve. /end of cheesiness.

My wife agree'd to a quiet stay-in night on Valentines day itself and celebrate it out on the weekend instead. Less crowds, good for wallet, happy camper ^_^~

I don't find Valentine's day particular important to me. However I understand it is an important day for girls world wide, and more importantly, my missus. It is also a nice excuse to pamper her and show her just how romantic you can be. I won't be with her this Valentine's day though due to our conflicting work schedules and being 2 states away. But I have already ordered flowers to be delivered to her home in the morning of V-day. =]

Don't be lazy boys, you can use your creativity outside of games too!

I've always felt valentine's not just about couples. So Happy Valentine's Day to all, esp my friends whom I've gotten to know playing this amazing game aka SC2. Never regreted coming back to playing games after such a long break.
