Ok, so i have lost 5 games in a row recently on ladder (nothing spechial people have been on longer losing streaks) but what grinds my gears if the fact that 3 of those 5 losses were due to battle.net dropping me midway into the game and its not my internet of computer its the server itself (on NA). Like, what the hell battle.net I wanna move up the ladder not down... Get your crap togethour.

Im gonna try and push myself to ladder more and to get better. By the end of the year (when its holidays and i finish schooling) im going to push to become a better player more then ever. I wanna achieve professional status. I want to be up there with players like moonglade, pet, iaguz, light, satu and all the other SEA pro's and other pro's in general. It saddens me, SEA GM has hit lowest of lows (currently 44 as i have made this blog) can at times take a bit to find a game, bearly no one in public chats and with chats like (yes this is in a way a shout out) mgg and noobschool the only major active chats i know of (that I KNOW of there might be more) that seem to be somewhat active.

Ok this isnt a QQ with balance but its something i'm sure almost every sc2 player on ladder has experienced and its quite frustrating.

Finally back in plat on Kr. That kicks another objective off the list. Yet i still gotta do the following left.

1. Get masters on SEA
2. Get back to diamond on NA
3.Getting to plat on EU via only 6 pooling

As some may know, I'm currently a diamond level Protoss player and wants to know the secret/s to extending ones knowledge for the game in order to break into GM for any server.

So i ask other Grandmaster players or former Grandmaster players out there what did they do to achieve Grandmaster the first time they did and there journey to get there. Also some advice whether flat out ladder games or just constant prac vs GM and even master players will get me to achieve this goal quicker.... [Read More]

After some "soul searching" was done, and grinding just under 200 games... i'm back in diamond.

For the past week i have been on tilt like never before, losing 70% of my games (estimate) and things were looking bad, as the new season opened up i did my placement and demoted to platinum, which was sadly expected. Me in shock i laddered for like 8 games, lost 6 of them and was worried. So i decided to redo my placement (bad mistake) lost to a silver zerg (which btw he seemed better then some diamond zergs i have played but w/e) and then demoted AGAIN to gold league. Hello there, its QEDStodd here (also known as the QQ zerg guy -_-) here to ask a simple question, has HOTS done what it was ment to do? Other then keep a epic campaign on a roll to bring back and make the game StarCraft 2 back stronger then ever?

Ok i thought this had to be pointed out, as i write this blog there is currently only about 100 GM's on SEA and i wouldn't be lying if about 30% of them aren't even active enough to stay as GM. A lot of our pro's (who i won't mention for confidential reasons) have purposely or accidentally dropped out of GM or don't ladder to GM for reasons like...

1. i heard GM's say stuff like you can win like 2-8 points but then lose 20-30 on the ladder which makes spending the bonus pool difficult.

Before i start my rant, i know zerg isn't totally impossible but i just feel that its a race that leans on the OP side and needs to be discussed.

Zerg is legit a pain to verse, everytime i see a PvZ on ladder i cant help but cringe and feel a little fustrated already knowing theres a 94% chance i've lost this game. I try EVERYTHING.
