I'm really looking forward to this. I've spent literally a few months of hard work making sure we get some nice stream quality and production going for NDTV. I know some of you have already contacted us to be a part of our movement, but the majority have no idea what NDTV is like... [Read More]
So many of you may have watched my stream in the past few weeks. I've been streaming quite regularly. I've finally found the right times where my internet doesn't lag up and found the right settings to make the stream look good! One of the things that I've really been motivated to do recently is streaming. I was able to get in touch with the Hong Kong StarCraft 2 Community (Hence the Chinese speakers on my stream), and it's been really fun to not only play with people from my own culture, but... I'm sure some of the older members of this community would know who I am and what I did before. If you don't... almost 2-3 years ago, I first started commentating on SC2SEA... I never really got anywhere near professional shoutcasting because of not having the internet at home to stream, being a student at a pretty academically competitive school, and also being in a city that hasn't put much emphasis on SC2. I decided to end my commentating 'career', if I may, when I... [Read More]
Since it's summer and I have started to commit some of my time to casting again, I've really wanted to run a show or whatever interesting event every week for SEA on my stream.
I'm aware that awesome people like System has worked on the SEA Podcast before, and there are shows like Climbing the Ladder and Meta from other regions, so I am really aiming to have something that will be interesting and informative to everyone at every level on a weekly basis.
So some of you may have noticed...
I am streaming now - and quite often...
Those who have been in the SC2SEA scene when I started casting would've probably known that I had a shitty internet back then which could not support streaming... really crippling my enjoyment and flexibility in casting.
However... Times have changed
I was lucky enough to get a brand new internet plan. Had a few guys come to the house to sort some wires out, and bam. I have Fiber-Optic internet and can now... [Read More]
The 13th of May marked a momentous occasion in not on the life of Team Eve or Poker Strategy, but for the E-Sports scene in South East Asia. (SEA). Over a month of planning and organization went into the Eve Cup to ensure a professional and cleanly executed tournament was run, and, from the feedback of the players, it seems to have paid off.
$600 was up for grabs for top ranked players on the SEA sever and big EVE congratulations go out to our top four. ST_KingKong took home the big payday... [Read More]
Those who don't know or haven't noticed, on my YouTube channel (which has been the place where I cast most), I've started a series of VODs categorized as [SEA vs WORLD] under my SC2 Commentaries folder on my Channel. I've recently found a huge interest in watching and casting many of our SEA players against some famous players out there. Featuring aLtPiG, Jazbas, and also Targa. These are all reps that have either been sent to me, or were found in some of the replay packs around... [Read More]
Once again, I am asking another question about "Commentators" for SC2 as it is an AWESOME hobby to have/do!
So today's question/blog thing would be about a Long-term co-caster/partner that makes a casting team together. (eg. Benji/Xeen or Phoenix/Kelly or Artosis/Tasteless)
So how do casters work together long-term? What makes a dual-cast strong? How do you improve in casting with a long-term partner? Just some tips and pointers will help as I am starting to cast with my... [Read More]
