I'm now gonna starting blogging some of my random thoughts from time to time.
What are our needs in life?
Most people think they want money. Lots and lots of it. They don't. What they really want is to fulfil the needs that money can buy. Everyone has certain needs they need to fulfil throughout their lives. They evolve over time and it varies from person to person.
Why do the super rich often build statues of themselves? Why did gus organised a gigantic international tournament... [Read More]
Anyone watched this show? I saw it rated as 7.7 on imdb which is incredibly high for a movie in the "horror" genre and so although i normally dislike such shows in that genre I decided to gave it a go... and ended up pleasantly surprised!
Some who watch it might think of it as nothing more than a generic horror show and movies of that nature normally require incredible suspension of disbelief / logic to watch i.e always falling down at the worse moment and being incapable of... [Read More]
I'm gonna be introducing a Panoramic Picture feature on one of my other webbies soon. Was really excited when it came out, it was better then I expected and relatively easy to create.
This is literally the first one I did so its super rough, has tons of bugs and a few mutated people. I still have a lot to learn in terms of proper photography taking, proper image stitching and so on. I also missed a frame so it isn't 360 lol. It also has a lady looking very annoyed at me. I think its a decent... [Read More]
Disclaimer: This is a joke blog obviously, if you're gonna see it any other way and be offended by it, your issue is probably not with this blog, but with me. It does however tackle a serious issue of missing items and customer service!
Today I've decided to share my experience with a moving professional company.
Day 1:
I attempted to move my items, all 2,000 of them. It was a relatively simple process, and I only had to click a single button "send to stash!". Whoa, technology... [Read More]
I enjoyed it, chloe hated it. Not seen a good sci-fi thriller in a very long time. Its a lot like Alien 2012 with the female heroine in an alien word, no surprise as it was supposed to be a soft prequel of some sorts. The girl with the dragon tattoo is the new Sigourney and that
is one of my favorite scenes in a while. I think the role was supposed to catapult Naomi to mainstream super hero status like what it did... [Read More]
Two movies opened recently in Singapore, here are my reviews of them which may come in handy if you're thinking of watching any of them.
Snow White and the Huntsman
Before watching: A superb trailer which got me anxiously awaiting this movie for months. The premise is excellent, an alternative take of the snow white story. And yes, it features The Mirror, An Evil but Sexy Queen who literally sucks the youth out of women, Poison Apples, Seven Dwarfs and Thor.
Was looking forward to the Avengers all year till i started getting spammed by avenger trailers on twitch.tv (For some reason it was the only advertisement they showed every time i opened a stream for 30 seconds, for the WHOLE of last month) which made me completely not care about it. Talk about advertisements backfiring! And then I started bitching in the sc2sea chat and people pointed out you could simply download gods gift to the interwebz aka ad block and it was happily ever after. Now even... [Read More]

Was so excited to go to Korea that I ended up waking up pre-maturely, couldn't go back to sleep and hence this blog! Chloe says theres a sort of rivalry between people from seoul and busan cause they are from different provinces, speak slightly... [Read More]
Hi all! In this series of blogs I will share my experiences of my time living in Australia. For those who don't know, I lived in Brisbane, Australia - also the hometown of mOOnGLaDe - for three years until 2009 while getting my honours degree in finance at the University of Queensland. I absolutely enjoyed my time there and soooo wish I could one day go back and live there, maybe in 30 years when I'm retired! This series of blogs will be me fondly reminiscing on my time spent along with some... [Read More]

So last weekend our friends invited us to visit them in Cebu, a city in the Philippines. It was our first time in Philippines and the first thing that stood out was how everyone could speak English so well. This I believe was because PH used to be USA occupied back in the day. Another thing that stood out was the disparity in wealth, this is always the case in developing nations but it became really apparent when listening to my friend talk about it. [Read More]
Laddered with HuT a bunch of times today, and wow did we just play an epic game.
So lately i've heard whispers of a new Terran cheese rush where they stop scvs and get 3 raxes at 11 supply, get their OC then instead of mule make it call down supply and rush HARD with all their scvs with marines streaming in from 3 raxes. It is supposedly super hard to stop, especially at close positions and impossible if you do not make a zealot early. Now i never knew it was THAT hard until playing it... [Read More]
My sister has a started small wedding photography company in Singapore and would need help getting likes for her company's new facebook page! Have a look around and if you like what you see why not click the "like it" button, it would help her out tremendously
My favourite movie of the year. Highly recommended. And this above is a much better trailer then the "pick scenes from various parts of the movie and compile it all together" crap usually shown.
The two leads, young Xavier / Magneto and their outstanding acting/character development made the movie. Two extremely charismatic individuals with each their own polar opposite ideals and beliefs, their friendship and development of their relationship the real story. When i... [Read More]
Never thought there would be a better "detective/whodunit" series in this genre than "The Mentalist" which usually has a super smart but somehow still believable protagonist who uses his incredible powers of deduction / cold reading to solve cases that leave you going wow.
The first part of the anime "Death note" was great, the TV series "lie to me" was decent, "psych" was terrible, the movie sherlock holmes was mediocre (which is alot to say since i usually love guy richie stuff) but... [Read More]
Just finished watching thor with a bunch of aLts (also a farewell to cure who goes into army in 5 days!) and wow was it fantastic! Hands down my favourite show of the year. Loved that aussie leads charismatic presence and the story was engaging and well written. director was an oscar nominated "serious film" guy or smth and it really showed what you can do with some serious talent and a big budget behind u. he brought the fantastic storyline that made marvel comics so loved out into cinematic...
