After a grueling run in the lower bracket having going down to iMyang in the fourth round, Mastermind's Frustration fought his way through to the match which would decide the final WCS spot. Since yang had already earned himself a spot from Perth Barcraft, the winner of the lowers bracket final was to get the spot.

I've been laddering a bit recently on the NA ladder, I'm a high diamond atm and have been experiencing quite a bit of bm and cheese from players on NA. For example the other day I was laddering playing against a Protoss on Entombed Valley and his response to my standard 1 rax expand was a four gate. So there was a lot of recent discussion about how Bo3 is usually underwhelming for the spectators since the Upper Bracket champion tends to just stomp the Lower Bracket champion 2-0 and it's all over.

I just wanted to highlight 3 events in less than a month where it's been quite the opposite:

That sounds a lot better than it looks if you got knocked out in the first round of the lower bracket on Saturday - especially if you copped the brunt of the lag and FPS drops, which was particularly brutal at the start of the day.

ACL Melbourne was incredible. I am sure people have certain expectations when experiencing an event like ACL Pro for the first time. Coming from New Zealand I had my expectations exceedingly evaporated and my mind incredibly blown.

After attending ACL I have decided to switch my SC2 Alias too MezjE. MezjE is the name I use in Call of Duty 4, where I was first introduced to eSports and competitive gaming in Australia. CombatEZ apparently was too controversial and as a manager it simply wasn't professional.
