So last night team Benji played in flamga's LoL showmatch thing. Initially we had planned it to be crux reborn in league but cabracan dodging at the last minute meant we had recruit a new member: xGKingBenji. Benji joined our lineup of NXZ, Stallion, strike (stallions brother) and spoon. So with our lineup finalised we decided to hit the normal queue where we proceeded to stomp our competition with our smite utility mastery rumble (oops need to pay more attention next time).
This is the first episode of PiG's new youtube content focusing on interviews and zerg tutorials. In this episode PiG talks about the lows and highs of 2012, shares stories from Korea and talks about what he plans for the future, including his team/sponsor situation.
I apologise for the poor interviewing manner (from me), this is my first interview and I had planned to edit out my questions as subtitles. Will either make subtitles next time or actually write down questions... [Read More]
Not sure if this should be a thread/blog, but eh. Singapore folk, I'm going to be in Singapore from the 26th-29th of Dec, and I would really like to meet up with as many of you as possible, maybe go to an internet cafe/get food/drinks somewhere. I haven't lived there for like 7 years now so IDK what to do where to go, open for suggestions, but again I'd like to meet as many of you as possible!
Hello my lovelies,
Figured I'd let everyone here know a bit about Aucklands run in the CSL, as a few of our members frequent this forum, and I'm sure you'll all be interested to hear about it.
So although the website is a bit dodgy regarding adding lineups, reporting, and various other stuff, we've managed to successfully advance to the Ro8 in the Asia division. So far we've had some really good performances by all of our members, notably of which the legendary Thomas "JazBas" Cho, who I'm... [Read More]
Just made this video about the evolution of the ZvP metagame and why it makes me excited for the future of SC2 as a skilled based game. Thanks for checking it out ladies.
Hi guys. Just throwing a quick blog (cause it's not worth putting it up as a thread imo) about the status of PWWO.
First, I follow the UK. So, no more questions or harrying me that it's Summer. I know you guys in the Southern Hemisphere are going through some hot times.
Second, this week there is no PWWO as I will be in Japan. Despite being offered by some to run it for me, I feel like it's not necessary to do so as its the weekend before Xmas. Everyone will be busy. Big thanks to the... [Read More]
At the last SOGC event in November, EsportsDaily and MPU was asked by the game creators of the popular game Chivalry: Medieval Warfare to setup a showcase for some people to test the game and have some fun. We had some cameras on site and recorded some footage which we put together into this video. If you have been curious about the game, check out some regular gamers having fun with the game.
Just want to share a few things and hope you can all get behind your local SEA SC2 Razer team and vote for us to be Team Razer Team of the Year!!.. Even if we don't win - every vote helps show Razer that we have a bunch of Fans and means they will be more likely to send our team to international events next year!! So Please vote
There is a little competition incentive involved also, I'll share those details below.
Razer has recently released a competition in which eSports... [Read More]
Recently, my family has been struggling. My step dad has no work after Christmas and my mother is unable to work due to physical restrictions (knee replacement at the age of 45). She is currently on Income Protection, which is 75% of her salary. I am unable to work for a while due to several medical operations I have in the next 2 months: Wisdom teeth removal and eye surgery. These operations will cost approximately $4000 total, and only the wisdom teeth removal is claimable on... [Read More]
Well, not identical to all of the others, but somewhat the same.
This shall be my very own boring blog about "My life in Starcraft 2" (may as well hop on the bandwagon). Enjoy!
It all started about 6 - 7 months ago when i first saved up enough money (was 15 at the time shutup) to buy my own copy of Starcraft 2, all was well, i installed it, downloaded updates, and removed the useless crap on my computer to make room (Counterstrike + Minecraft). Then, as i logged in for my first time, i was... [Read More]
Hello again fellow sea enthusiasts!
Slightly delayed but here nonetheless is the weekly installment of: This Week I Learned (TWIL), Where after a week of rigorous practice, I briefly discuss what my goals of the week were, how (if) I achieved them, and what I can do better to achieve said goals.
This week I was trying to get in better mental states for tournaments, and also better my mechanics, the latter not going so well, but the former going ok I felt.
So this is odd way to put it but I guess this is one way of saying it. Might sound silly but I'm attempting to become a Starcraft 2 progamer and eventually make a name for myself the international scene granted the right opportunities.
My biggest issue at the moment is essentially burning out. You could say that if you truly wanted to become a professional at something you would love absolutely every element of it and not burn out but I don't think that's true. Maybe my mental strength isn't... [Read More]
It is early September 2012. The season lock for Season 3 2012 is in effect, so no more bonus pool for anyone. I am sat at rank 9 Gold on SEA. I want the Top 8 record and achievement to add to my impressive (to me) list and great pictures.
I only started SC2 two or three months before this point and finished my first season, 2012 Season 2 as rank 4 Bronze. I was very proud. ... [Read More]
I'm pretty worried about the future of SEA ladder, that is when HOTS comes out. Since its not a standalone and an expansion, not many people will want to buy both SC2 WOL and SC2 HOTS at the same time. Not only that, those that is bored of SC2 WOL will not buy HOTS This will eventually reduce the population of SC2 in SEA regions further (damn).
I have switched to NA already, despite facing 0.2-1second delay. The players there are more bm, but the population is about 21x of SEA (comparing... [Read More]
So lately I've been getting sick of the search times on SEA, I've decided to offer an incentive for people to play on it again, If you beat me in a bo3 on SEA Ladder in the next 2 weeks I'll give you $100
Opening cinematic, watch it yo~http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9MclIvXqkn8
"The game follows Andy, a child who hates his abusive teacher, loves his dog Whiskey, and has nyctophobia or fear of darkness. One day, Andy and Whiskey head for the park. A solar eclipse occurs while they're there. During the eclipse, Whiskey is taken away by an unseen creature. "
Havent played this for like 8 years or some shit (Holy balls im getting old).

#10 - Seed - A scary Protoss... at times. This guy does some crazy funny shit with hallucination every now and then, pulling out some interesting wins with "fake out" colossus or other units - MINDGAMES. I love Seed and was really happy to see him take down a GSL, I hope he can continue on though lately he hasn't been as stellar as that season of GSL earlier this year. He's also quite funny to talk to ^_^
#9 - Mana - Apparently not getting much of the limelight (even until... [Read More]
I haven't done any texturing, and making it pretty, etc. I basically just threw together the core layout (base positions, cliff heights, etc) for testing using a single plain tileset. You can play it on SEA.
I've named the map Korhal Battlefield, because it kind of gives me... [Read More]
IEM Singapore was fantastic, a huge learning curve and i got to watch and bring some amazing games played by amazing players. This was the first Major tournament i have observed with non Australian Progamers, so it was a huge step to test my abilities while observing.
