I'm completely beat after streaming 10am-1am tonight and am still live as I write this blog. I'm happy that I've been getting a lot of high-masters students so coaching has been particularly challenging and interesting. Also I've swapped to HoTS mostly so that's been a fresh change!

Video making seems so fun!

I am thinking of buying a camcorder to use in documentary / guide travel videos I will be making. Of course I will be using it on holidays and SC2 events too! The video function on my dslr was really terrible, looked low quality and took up so much space. Any advice?

I am leaning towards the black HERO3 now and will probably be getting it if nobody has any other recommendations. This video made by it looks amazing.

So people paying attention to looking for clan threads or looking for SEACL team threads may have noticed a sudden influx of players dropping the FaDe tag and looking to join new clans

So earlier today I was doing my usual laddering day when I went 0-2 against some zerg who did the same cheese, tried cheesing him 3rd game and got bo countered. Essentially that got me off on a tilt, cheesing everyone, BM'ing, etc. etc. and I stopped playing once I realized I went 1-14, lost every single point I had (from about 160+).

I'm ******* good at procrastinating. Extremely good at it, and it affects how much I might train in a given day. I train more the closer to a tourney but that's bad, you should train a lot because you want to be as good as you can. I read about a study that concluded that negatives for failure are more motivational then rewards for success, essentially a Carrot and Stick system but inverted. I know this is a few days late, but I'm basing my official SC2 new year to begin on the week of January 7th. I've been spending nice quality time with family since December 22. I'm hoping to purchase a new computer in the next month or two before uni resumes in March.

Things I know:

• I want to spend $1200 max
• I will be using my computer for cadding, some photoshop, video editting, etc
• I would like to be able to play SC2 without my screen freezing mid-battle

At the moment we are having a discussion in chat box about whether or not you should be able to play in a lower level tournament if you are active with a race that is that level whilst having another account and race at a higher level.

Seasons greetings everybody!! Twas the season to be jolly and indeed I was. A solid 1-2 weeks with no work and little other gaming induced stress has left me feeling quite serene and relaxed!
Such relaxed feelings of sc2 since there were/are no competitions atm led me to pull out the ol' dota2 and HOTS beta, which turned out to be quite fun/good games. Its growing well yes, but it can be better. When I talk about "growing eSports" I refer to growing the Starcraft 2 industry as a whole. Not the small subset of top players or any specific state.
