This Acl is by far going to be the hardest by far and picking a top 8 for pro bracket will be impossible but everyone knows that the 2 players that should make the pro bracket would be iaguz and kingkong (This is why i have done iaguz in everygroup because what ever he picks he should come top 2 or first)
My group predictions are going of latest tournaments and skill of players that i know of, make your own predictions below!
Group A :
King Kong

Hi I'm Bard and I recently had the chance to do another graphics card review for our sponsors over at NVIDIA. Today I will be reviewing the Gainward GTX 760 2GB. This is a little different to the review I did last time on my GTX 780 since this card is aimed at gamers with a smaller budget who still want high end graphics. However, for its price, the results as shown below are still impressive.
Because the card is from NVIDIA and Gainward, its chipsets use the full range of software and... [Read More]
Okay let's do this, so I said I was going to go away for awhile, let's get into details of the whole lot, complete transparency.
Over the course of the past 4-5 months I have been in and out of the doctors, multiple appointments and a many of tests, this was due to a small lump found in my lower back, at first it was assumed to be potentially cancerous and then the further tests to my relief showed otherwise, however it had the ability to grow and become a problem down the track, so... Hi everyone! Recently I managed to get my hands on one of the new cards from our sponsors over at NVIDIA and Gainward, the GTX 780 Phantom GLH (Goes like Hell) 3gb. I have had a great time going through the in’s and out’s of the card along with tinkering with all the different settings. So I thought I would share my experience and give a bit of a review on the card!
Ryan Schutter (head of the GameHeart crew) has unleashed the GH extension mod for the public to use!
Ryan has done some fantastic work in the past, putting together not only the original GH maps themselves - but he and crew have also put together the GH Interface files (which you'll almost always see me using - I love minimalism! ) and now the extension mod to use on any standard Bnet melee map for your clan war, tournament or event.
I've been encouraging players to use GHLight maps... [Read More]
So in a show of my gratitude to those that have tuned into my stream whether it be to just check it out or to stay and offer advice or even just chill out and watch some fun games with the highs and lows of Starcraft 2.
Hello!
Ive been talking with GameHeart creator lately and i said id get all the logos from the SEA teams so he can add them to the client. I would like that since all the tournaments I'm running uses game heart to cast and stream the games.
If you want your team or clan put into the client send me logo you want added to troyduxxie@gmail.com
Thanks
EDIT: If they can be square logos that would be appreciated.... [Read More]
Hi all and thanks for clicking this blog. This is my second part of the GTA V blog I started last week. This one will be talking about the online portion of the game, released a week ago.
One week ago Tuesday, GTA Online was released, 2 weeks after the release of the game. This was supposedly to iron out any problems with the game and so that family and friends of rockstar could get a first look at the multiplayer. I assume these family and friends are not video gamers first and foremost,... [Read More]
Hi, I’m Daehfeurd, better known here as Potthead, and I edit and produce content at Exile5. I also haven't posted here in yonks, so hello to everyone again!
For the last couple weeks, I’ve been playing this really unknown and not very much talked about game called GTA V. This blog will be about my experiences so far.
I’ll begin with how I enjoyed the campaign. I’ll do this without giving away information as I don’t wanna ruin it for those who haven’t played it all the way through yet.... [Read More]
Hi I’m Armi, a Starcraft 2 player for Team Exile 5 and tech enthusiast, and I recently had the pleasure of getting my hands on the Galaxy Hall of Fame NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780.
GalaxyTech wanted to make the most powerful GeForce GTX 780 in existence, and to provide gaming performance to rival or even surpass the mighty thousand dollar Titan. Today we’re going to look at whether they succeeded. First we’ll do a quick summary of the card specs before we delve into what makes a GeForce GTX 780... [Read More]
I'm [mGG]MueX, an ex-master league random player. I've been looking to get into casting, because I love Starcraft and all its different strategies and want to get more involved in the community. I've been doing some streaming of my casting, mainly just 1v1 custom games between people from the metaGameGods and noobschool channels. The biggest struggle I've had with casting, though, is how to speak clearly and continuously. Watching over my recordings I see I have a tendency to say a lot of "um"s... [Read More]
After talking to multiple teams since the disbanding of xeria, I've decided that my best option is to go teamless for a while. This is due to multiple reasons which I don't wish to go into detail about in this blog post. I'd simply like to say that I'm no longer searching for a team to join, and I doubt I will be for at least the rest of this year.
I'm going to instead focus purely on improving my skill level. This means getting my ranking a lot higher on ladder, and mass gaming in my spare... [Read More]
So I've decided to a buy a new computer and build it myself so I'll be able to stream properly. My upload is pretty shit, so I need a pretty good computer to be able to stream decently.
I wanted to wait until after ACL, so I could give it my all practice wise and see where I end up, and I think I did pretty well. Computer just showed up today, so I'll have to build it, and I'll probably be streaming by Wednesday. if you want to watch a Protoss player try to improve, while... [Read More]
Just wanted to write a quick brag blog! Some people may remember the first blog in a series from about 18 months ago titled "Path to Korean GM" (http://www.teamliquid.net/blogs/viewblog.php?id=309898) which was all about me taking my training, including exercise and balanced lifestyle, a lot more seriously.
In the time in-between I've been right at the top of masters almost permanently, and practically built a mental block for each time GM came out I'd go on horrible losing... [Read More]

With my recent failure at the AVCon tournament in Adelaide, I've decided to dedicate myself a lot more to sc2 in order to get my skill level to where I want it to be. I'd like to do well at ACLs in the future, and see how long I can play as a semi-pro or perhaps even pro player in the future. But to do this, I need to be able to support myself. So, I'm thinking of starting paid coaching services.
I'll do free coaching for a week or two, depending on how many are wanting it. It'll be to train... [Read More]
Lately I've lost a lot of motivation for when I play. I'm finding the game less fun and I feel like I've been under performing when representing my clans in clan wars and tournaments, as well as letting people down due to my recent results and performance. I'm not saying I'm a bad player or that my skill level is dropping off, I am just not content with where I am along with the time and effort I invest into the game, which I feel could be spent more efficiently on... Hello friends, been a while since i posted on sc2sea and many new members that i don't know so little bio
My name is Luke 'BiGbiRd' Bridley and i played in ACL/WCS etc last year and would say i got fairly decent-ish before stopping in late Oct/early Nov last year due to not having fun essentially (PvP is the most frustrating shit ever). Some of you may remember that near the end of my playing i used to complain about zerg, however i meant almost all of it jokingly as PvZ was my favourite and... [Read More]
For the past week i have been on tilt like never before, losing 70% of my games (estimate) and things were looking bad, as the new season opened up i did my placement and demoted to platinum, which was sadly expected. Me in shock i laddered for like 8 games, lost 6 of them and was worried. So i decided to redo my placement (bad mistake) lost to a silver zerg (which btw he seemed better then some diamond zergs i have played but w/e) and then demoted AGAIN to gold league. That was the last straw,... [Read More]
I get asked "hey iaguz do you coach?" a lot. I usually don't since time spent coaching could be spent playing/studying starcraft but seeing as the next month is pretty quiet, I might give it a go again. After all, I do like money, and coaching is easy.
So how does this work?
WHAT YOU NEED
* Specific problems. Basically don't just say "oh I want to be better" or "my mechanics suck", I need some indepth stuff I can tear into. Replays are helpful in this respect.
* Money. 25 bucks an... [Read More]
It has been a long time since I last posted here and I'm very keen to start doing so semi-regularly again. My last Blog entry was about ladder anxiety that I had. It seems that the anxiety and my schoolwork made it difficult to get into the game for a long time. I watched the game pretty regularly, keeping up to date with overseas tourneys and our own too. And now I've started to get back into it.
My friend pXPhoenixA helped me get back into the game. It's pretty amazing to see how well he... [Read More]
I just found this blog randomly but so glad I did it was a really enjoyable read about MLG Dallas and more-so interactions with pro players (including mOOnGLaDe) which made me appreciate certain players more and reminded me how awesome this industry is!
