So recently I've been thinking about sc2 and the best way i can achieve what i want out of this game.
Player wise i don't have the time or dedication needed to play ladder all day every day, im more a few hours every few days as much as i love this expansion. So my thinking is I would like to do coaching for a team a proper go. I know coaches generally aren't a thing outside korea in sc2 but i think if people would be willing to give it a try i could add some value to a team/academy.
I hereby apologize to every single Protoss I've shamed by not using the fast warp in hotkey thing. I would like to thank Jessie and Probe for showing me the light and saving me from my sinful ways. Please find it in your heart to forgive a poor soul such as I.
I'd like to thank my new Family for accepting me at the end of last year, and giving me somewhere to play. In the past week I've really liked the players you have so many Zergs((;, most in which are very friendly and are lower leagues I can feel like I'm good haha.
Thank you Wolf, hopefully 2015 brings us Victory and we crush our foes .
Please forgive my bad English its 4am haha.
Haven't been around much, hopefully this vlog will explain why - and things that are changing for me moving forward.
TLDW: Not casting SC2 vods for youtube atm because work is fun but takes up a lot of time - still happy to do live stuff when I have time though
PS: I'm currently doing a 9 hour casting day of the Defense of the Australians dota2 tourney - but I am intending on being at barcraft tonight - though I might be a bit late depending on how long this... [Read More]
There is something inherently different when playing on LAN. The desk isn’t quite right, your sound is slightly off, the monitor is bigger, your hands are cold, the chair is uncomfortable, you can’t play with music, perhaps people are speaking loudly around you. Whatever the case, its certainly a different experience. The key is knowing what you can do make do with what cards you are dealt and not assuming you will play as hot as you do at home.
A few weeks ago I sat down to write a blog about IEM Singapore where I got eliminated 0-2 to Squirtle and 1-2 to Targa in the Open bracket on Day 1. When I tried to write about the trip and the day-to-day experiences it all seemed very dull. So instead I wrote this.
Defeat
Defeat isn't a sharp pain. Defeat isn't focused. Defeat isn't a slow and dreary pulling. Defeat isn't running isn't a hump in the road.
Defeat is a deafening thunder strike that rips us wholly from all that is... [Read More]
Hi guys its x5_Doombie here from Breaking bronze. Recently I had the pleasure of upgrading my PC and getting a new 3d card. The card I chose was the GeForce GTX 770 4GB Windforce from our awesome sponsors over at NVidia.
I wanted a card to take my pc to the next level, I didn’t want to have to worry about my pc crashing while I’m streaming online, or getting a bad frame rate while recording footage. I want to be able to run the games I play on ultra-settings smoothly so I can enjoy... [Read More]
Disclaimer: While I am the content co-ordinator and a member of the SC2 commentary team for Oceanic Esports (OeS) - this is not an official post on behalf of the crew. This is purely my personal thoughts and impressions as a commentator, and someone who had a fun weekend
It's amazing how long this has taken me to write - I was waiting on photos and I was going to start writing this before they were up so I could just slot them in - but I'm a master... [Read More]
What is dedication? Websters defines it as "a devoting or setting aside for a particular purpose". However, I think it's defined as something Australia is lacking. Something that needs to be brought into the SC2 community! However..
It has been! There is a little New Zealander who is bringing us all the gift of dedication. A mere hashtag? Not enough to truely explain just how important the term is, and how much we dearly needed it to be brought into our community. Without it, we would have... [Read More]
I am Carfo, or PolloFrio as some people may know me by, and I am a high diamond zerg player currently looking for a clan or team to join. I am hoping that I can further my Starcraft ability by having practice partners and participating in clan wars and tournaments. Mostly I am looking for an Australian based team, with a majority of australian players as I am from Brisbane myself.
I recently joined the GPD tournament here and successfully won it which was nice! I am... [Read More]
So, after coming off a pretty devastating loss this evening to ToRSchnitzel (who is well deserving of his victory), I found myself being so frustrated and annoyed at myself and my own play. My ZvP has been, to say the least, awful for several months now; and I've luckily managed to avoid protosses in tournaments for a long time. But tonight I felt really ashamed in my play, and I didn't represent myself as well as I feel I should have.
After a short, angry outburst I logged off SC2,... [Read More]
Aiming to become Australia's best Terran!

I'm completely beat after streaming 10am-1am tonight and am still live as I write this blog. I'm happy that I've been getting a lot of high-masters students so coaching has been particularly challenging and interesting. Also I've swapped to HoTS mostly so that's been a fresh change!
It's been a while since I blogged, so I decided to write one.
So November 2012, I went to MLG Dallas and worked for Quantic Gaming as their photographer.
My first face to face encounter with them was in a suite room at a hotel that we stayed. As I entered, Gwin (the interviewer) was getting ready to interview Brandi (Brightside).
There I met Ian, the one who I've been contacting on email to make this whole thing happen, and his couple of thousands of recording equipment that he had... [Read More]
So I have been back in Australia for a while and ever day sees me getting more and more depressed
Away from my girlfriend, stuck with my parents, no luck with the job search and generally bored out of my mind. Need something to do and with game design and development being an interest of mine seems like the logical choice
I have had a decent amount of experience in game design via both study and attempts at mods and total conversions in the past and the best way to ruin a good idea is to... [Read More]
Hey Guys some of you may know me some of you may not, If not im an aussie zerg player from brisbane aiming to be the youngest player (currently 14) to go pro.
