The middle of this year has been very, very busy for me. In June I was lucky enough to go to Dreamhack Summer and had one hell of an experience which I blogged about previously here: http://www.teamliquid.net/blogs/viewblog.php?id=420250. After I got home from Sweden I had a series of online tournaments such as the WCS NA qualifiers. This involved two whole weeks of adjusting my sleep schedule to sleep at 8pm and wake up at 4am every morning. Then, in the span of ten days, I headed to... [Read More]
I was supposed to put this up sooner but I’ve been tremendously busy ever since coming home. I was going to give myself a one week break but upon seeing what July had in store for me I gave myself 3 days to rest instead. Beware: this is rather wordy. Maybe read it in parts…
Hi guys, this is a recap of my experience at DreamHack Summer 2013.
The lead-up to this tournament was the best I've ever had, I was able to train harder and longer, put all my experience to good use and focus... [Read More]
Edit: bah posted on Dot's account. This is my (PiG) blog! Nirvana please change ownership when you see this :s
Video is public now.
So the beta went down and I've been pretty bored. Decided to practice my marine micro.
I finally had time to get into Natural Selection 2. It's a bloody amazing game! The only multiplayer RTS-FPS hybrid that actually kicks ass (or the only one? :P). It's incredibly competitive and is so multifaceted that for a competitive guy like me... [Read More]
I recently started following a paleo diet, to some degree. I've had people telling me about the "caveman diet" for a long time and urging me to try it out. After hearing more about it than usual in the last few months, including pro sc2 player Sheth was swapping to it and having great success (http://www.teamliquidpro.com/news/20...eight-and-pain) I decided to have a go myself. After all, I love eating meat, more of it couldn't be bad right?
The diet itself can be read about here:... [Read More]

Woke up at 11.30 today half an hour later then yesterday nooo! Immediately signed up for playhem and grabbed cereal. Hit a few easy games for 3 rounds before hitting anyung.prime in zvz on cloud kingdom. God I despise this map. the colours are ugh and I dont practice on it. It's joining the ladder pool though so i guess I have to start playing it . I got pwnt by a +2 roach hydra timing despite having infestors out because I was simply behind. I took a... [Read More]

Day 3:
Summary:
Shorter recount today. Woke up at 11am. Played a ladder game to warm up for playhem. Played two relatively easy rounds before meeting GosuWBC (details below). I jumped straight into Korean ladder sore from my loss and had to deal with retarded delay, dropping games to a bunch of noobs and then falling to desrow's hyper-aggressive play. Even the stream started lagging so I turned it... [Read More]
Summary:
I woke up an hour earlier today (11am ZOMG!) which started off the day much better with some cornflakes and began to practice. Had some coaching and then back into the practice whilst streaming. Just as I started losing focus and just play badly I decided "Ok 1 more game before I get ready for dinner" I hit que, it instantly finds a game and then up on my screen BAM: Anything vs oGsMC. (See more below for my recount of this matchup!) After this debacle I go to dinner at... [Read More]
Ok so I got off to a slow start on the first day of my new goals, not waking up until midday . I hopped straight into coaching while eating breakfast and then had my next hour of coaching cancel. So w00t extra time to practice! I actually somehow only managed to play 15 ladder games though in the period from when i finished coaching shortly after 1pm until 6pm. I'll explain more on that later.
My brother had seen my blog and decided to help me meet my exercise goals... [Read More]

A few days ago I realised just how close the end of the season is and how little time I have to get my play to be consistently at such a high level.
Lately everyone's posting blogs about getting fit and improving their play and whatnot and its motivating just reading them. So why not write one of my own?
So here's my history with the korean server:
Basically I started investing any noteworthy amount of time into the... [Read More]
