As of today it has been 13 days since I finished the HSC. The first week of holidays felt so slow, like a month, and now the second has felt like a day. I’ve been away in the past few days and will be away in the next few days, so I’m expecting to do pretty poorly in the CH LAN on Sunday (I’ll be coming back home Saturday afternoon). But it’s okay. "Swan song" is a metaphorical phrase for a final gesture, effort, or performance given just before death or retirement. The phrase refers to an ancient belief that the Mute Swan (Cygnus olor) is completely silent during its lifetime until the moment just before death, when it sings one beautiful song.
