SE Asian Holiday Ideas

So few months ago I was forced to return to Australia and leave my lovely girlfriend in Korea while she finishes her vet science degree TT
She doesn't graduate until Feb 2014 and final year vet science doesn't give her much free time

We are looking at meeting in SE asia somewhere for a holiday cause Australia is too expensive and Korea is... well Korea.
I was wondering if people had recommendations for where to go like bali or philipines etc
