Hey everyone it has been about a month and a half since my last blog. I always have trouble thinking of where to start when i write these blogs haha. So i guess ill try go in a Chronological order this time. My last blog was on the 20th of June so its been a while but i remember writing in that blog that my grandma had been taken into hospice and that she may not have much time left with us. Sadly the worst happened 5 days later :'(. I always remember
Hey guys Ice here, has been another big month in the sc2 scene we have had 4 major qualifiers and another ANZ cup. The qualifiers were 2 IEM Shanghai, a Dreamhack Valencia and WCS Montreal was the last.
One major goal i set myself at the start of the year was to make a top 16 in a WCS qualifier. I wasn't able to make this goal happen. People who know me know I'm goal orientated and not making this goal was a real low point. I got close in season 2 and thought with the
Hey everyone!!. How have we all been lately? I hope all is well. With me its been a crazy last month wish I could've fit more sc2 in!. I am currently in practice to hopefully crack into the top 16 in the next WCS season its a goal I really want to achieve and something I'm hoping to make happen. In order to do this I've been trying to play in as many OSC events as possible especially the Douyu Cup I haven't been winning alot of series in the douyu cup (maybe 1 or 2) but
I have been well had a whole heap go on so ill try fit it all in to this blog.
First of all we have started a new season and new maps in SC2 finally. It feels good to have a change in the maps. I have played about 70 ladder games this season and so far I enjoy the new maps however they all present different problems and ways to think around them which makes ladder more entertaining and frustrating at the same time.
Hey peeps Ice here. How has everyone been? I have been going well recently in game and out of game.
In the world of starcraft I am once again masters feels good to prove the doubters wrong . Admittedly i still have a long way to go untill I reach my lofty goals however you aim for the stars and if you miss you will land on the moon. My team has been amazing with their support since i have joined, the environment with in the team is great. I am currently getting ready
Hey guys, Ice here how have we all been? Hope you have all been well
As for me alot has happened since my last blog. I decided to part ways with Team Exile 5 I would like to thank them for giving me a shot, However their were certain things that didn't feel right. I'm not going to go in to it any more than that as I feel that is unfair on myself and on them. I wish them all the best
In great news I have joined SYF Gaming and I am extremely happy to be in a great... [Read More]
Hope you all had a safe and enjoyable holiday period. Since my last blog, I've been pretty busy. I had the OSC showmatch vs Prozer to try and sneak into to the top 32 - unfortunately it wasn't to be. I feel even being that close, considering my suspension and loss of points earlier in the season, is a positive outcome - it just sucks getting that close and missing out!
However it powers me on now in 2016 to make the top 32 and play in the... [Read More]
Hey guys, How are we all? Just thought I would update you all on my progress and that of my family.
Family first, my grandparents are fighting strong can't wait for christmas with them. We hope it's not their last but it may well be :'(
Back to the fun stuff: SC2
Since being in masters I have been having ups and downs and more and more flaws in my game are coming out. This however is good the more I have to work on and fix the more I want to play. I'm on the
I haven't written a blog since joining the Team Exile5 academy so I thought that I'd fill you all in on what I have been doing. I joined the academy back in September and I had some troublesome times with the family. Grandma got given weeks - months to live and things were really busy at work so my start at x5 was rocky when it came to game time. Grandma is still fighting strong and work has got quieter so I'm now able to put large amounts of... [Read More]
Hey guys im going to keep this short. and not go into a lot of details.
Im stepping down from the managing role at Dynasty and effectively leaving. Ive been in charge for just over a year and our results haven't met the criteria set by myself and the org. So we leave on mutual terms. It saddens me to leave ill miss the boys and i feel whoever takes over has a strong platform to work on. On a plus side this will allow me to play the game i love more and possibly move into a team as a player ... [Read More]

A Dragons Tale
By Jamie "Ice" Beresford
Hey guys just wanna share a little tale from this weekends endeavours
First off this adventure started on Friday and me picking both Osiris and Rize up before we made the long drive to Melbourne. Now usually a drive to Melbourne from Adelaide will take 8-9 hours this drive however took closer to 11.. Coming from Adelaide i have no sense in the word traffic. The traffic we faced as we came into Melbourne made me rage more than

So coming into this weekend i has super hyped to attend my first ACL seeing the last few ACL's and listening to peoples experiences of them it was something i felt was a necessity and i wasnt disappointed. Admittingly results could have been better as were for alot of people. I was signed in for open bracket and was quite quickly knocked out which was a shame wouldve loved to have played on stage even if was against one of the power... [Read More]
Hey guys Ice here, gonna give you guys a recap/blog about how i feel the recent WA LAN went
This Saturday just gone, there was a LAN held in Joondalup in the Fragzone Lan Cafe WA. During the weeks leading up to the LAN the we thought we were gonna get upwards of 20 signups come the day, we only ended up having 12.
Never the less the LAN went on, Notable absentees were Mvp and Armi. Due to such a small crowd we changed the formats to bo5's so all the lads could have a fair crack and... [Read More]
