Let's upgrade the (F2) button ^___^

So apparently i'm a lurker in this colorful community. It's time to share my thoughts and opinion to the world (the internet) ! ^__^. At the moment, the "F2" button will select all units on the entire map. In this post I will primarily focus on suggesting that we improvise the use of this wonderful button (F2).
