I have made another glorious return (kekek glorious). There was no particular reason for my absence this time around, no idiotic pranks from alleged friend, no family tragedies, I just needed to take some time off. I've finally reached a point where I am going to have to decide what exactly I want to do in StarCraft. I am giving myself this new year to really nail things down in terms of which direction I want to go.

This year has been a bit of a quiet one for me. I am very slowly becoming more active here in SC2SEA I will admit but it takes me ages to warm up into a social 'gathering'. And now here I am. Starting to become a bit more vocal and building a rep.

This blog will cover my experience with today's LAN at the Arena in Rundle St, Adelaide organised by Ecko Esports.

You know you are dedicated and hyped for your first LAN (in any game I might add I have never been to a LAN of any kind before!) when you show up and despite walking past that little door sandwiched between actual cafes two or three times you are there at least half an hour before the guys actually running the event

When I first started playing StarCraft ladder back in Wings of Liberty I set myself a goal. I wanted to get to Platinum league.

Me with my 18 (or lower) APM... a loss streak of 52 games before my first win (true story - my first win triggered a 10 game winning streak. That initial win came right after watching Day9s first Newbie Tuesday. The lesson was so basic "Build Lords, Build Drones"). It seemed like a huge mountain at the time.
