Terran Control in TvP

Yo dudes and chicks.

Recently I have been really really struggling in TvP. I usually open with ghosts to either put some pressure early on with EMP or just use the EMP's defensively. Lately it hasn't really been going to plan and I think that I am losing due to my poor control.

Once the toss gets colossus and even if I have vikings, my army will still get obliterated. Any terrans out there, can you please give some advice on how to control your army when engaging. Cheers.
