2015 is going to be an exciting year for OSC. We've already gotten in to the swing of things announcing our incentives for SEA players and have the WCS Qualifier awarding the first OSC points of the year in only 3 days time!

Now we have some more changes to present to you all. The point distribution for some tournaments will be changing this year in conjunction with the China partnership and the SEA incentives. A full list of tournament point distributions can be found on the liquipedia page here.

The first change is to the Leifeng Cup. Points will only be awarded 5 days a week (Tues - Sat) to avoid clashes with SEA tournaments (SEAcraft and Masters Cups). This gives SEA players the freedom to play both tournaments without having to sacrifice any OSC points from picking one or the other. As points will be given less frequently, we will be increasing the points given slightly to accommodate the lost days. (+30 1st, +15 2nd, +5 3rd)

The other tournament seeing a change is SEA Masters Cups. the SEA only masters cups will now offer a total of 360 points (down from 400). As there will be an increase in points awarded for SEA players through the participation bonus, the 2.5 points for 17th-32nd are no longer needed as they will all be given 5 points by default.

We will be using last seasons rankings to determine scalp points until the end of the month, where we should then have enough data/tournaments compete to start going off this years.

Going to be a massive year!

Are there any taiwanese players coming to OSC tournaments?
Any chance to have like Sen or Ian participating? It would be great.

Some taiwanese guys have qualified for ESCL Season 1. Taiwan doesn't count as SEA, but they are welcome to play in any open editions of tournaments
