Actually its not, Edge was invited to the first event but didnt show up.

The game came out last summer and it already and continues to exceed every game's prize pool around them. Actually, I don't think there has been a game that's given out such money in such a short amount of time.

I am curious about a few details and I understand if these have not been released yet

1. Are the tourneys you run now still going to be online?
2. Is the end of year tourney going to be LAN based? If so, how long are players expected to stay in proximity to your studio?
3. Are the entire FXO team moving to the Team house? (Casters, Managers?)
4. Which server will these tourneys be played on?
5. Will FXO players suffer from lag if the tourneys are played on the NA server?

Seriously tho, great work, anything that furthers SC2 and Esports in general has my full support.

Seriously tho, great work, anything that furthers SC2 and Esports in general has my full support.

1) All events bar the LAN's will be online
2) Yes it will be lan based, the total size of the audience etc is being decided on.
3) Depends on their schedules at the time but the ideal is to have all our players under 1 roof
4) The NA server is the only really acceptable server to everyone, the fact that tehstc and hero play with so called "unplayable lag" and still dominate proves that.
5) its not about our players its about the best medium for international tournaments, which is why we chose the NA server
