I have a quick question about blogs as a whole...
What exactly is the point to them? Like, what differentiates a blog post from a regular forum post elsewhere on the forum? Do blogs posts have a specific purpose that isn't there in regular posts, etc.
Since I don't quite understand the reason for having blog posts when people can just post a "General" section thread like this.
So yeah, it would be much appreciated if someone could explain this to me

Blogs are generally personal, a story from an individual. For instance check out Dox's "ACL Ramblings" or Malice's blog or GooSe's blog about stepping down as head of mGG (which I hope he doesn't btw). All personal or team based.

Threads are for discussion on topics based on the heading that they are posted under; general discussion, starcraft 2 general discussion, strategy, other games, etc.
