Hey guys,

As of next week I'm going to be offering free coaching for to Zerg players! If you are a player on SEA and can't quite crack it into GM, I may be able to help you as well, but that's up to you if you wish to apply.

The coaching sessions will be for one hour, and we can workshop any particular areas that you have problems with. This can be a particular match-up, a particular build or style you wish to learn / refine, or all three match-ups in a general way, it's really up to you. I'm not looking to just shove build orders into your face and tell you to learn them, but I really want to teach about the logic and theory behind those actions.

When I was learning StarCraft II, starting from Bronze, I remember having pages and pages of notes stuck around my monitor and on my walls. I had notebooks with builds written down that I would follow, and it would lead to one-dimensional learning, as well as serving as unwanted distractions when things wouldn't necessarily go as planned. While this helped me, I think it stunted my development as a player and wasn't very efficient. If requested, I'll help with general build orders for styles I recommend, or you wish to learn, but I'll do it in a way that you'll understand WHY you are making that Queen when you are, so you can then adapt to any situation you are put in.

Over the course of this week I'll be collecting some of my own replays which will serve as a supplement to the advise I give students and a way to continue reinforcing the logic and theory presented.

Although I'm not the greatest SEA has to offer, the sessions are free and I have an solid grasp of how Zerg is meant to react to different scenarios. Having progressed to the Group stages of the two ACL tournaments I participated in this year (Gold Coast and Melbourne), I feel that I'll be able to help players of the lower leagues achieve the goals that they have set themselves.
