The "ColdSC Charity Tournament" is a benefit tournament. Proceeds will
go toward the charity Caregivers’ Night Out. Caregivers Night Out is a small
charity that was started by my mother in 2010. The charity puts on a dinner
and entertainment show for those who provide in-home care to their ill loved ones.
These caregivers, usually family members, who provide full time care for individuals
suffering from diseases such as dementia and Alzheimer’s. Caregiver’s is going
into its third successful year and it is something that my family hopes
to continue to put on for many years to come. My parents have always
funded the dinner portion of the evening, while the entertainment has
always been provided by volunteers. We are looking to involve as many
caregivers as possible, although we cannot afford to expand beyond what
we have already done.

Structure/Dates

We will be splitting this tournament up into three codes and three different
days.

Code A December 7 @ 19:00 GMT-08:00
Code B December 8 @ 19:00 GMT-08:00
Code S December 9 @ 19:00 GMT-08:00

Code B will be Bronze/Silver/Gold while code A will be Platinum/Diamond
and Code S will be Master/Grand Master. This will be a double elimination
tournament with the winners bracket being a BO3 and the losers being
a BO1. Each code will have a maximum of 50 players. Entry will be on a
first come first serve basis. Chat channel will be 'ColdSC'. On game day
please join this channel where you will be able to find your opponent.
The map pool will consist of MLG maps. The brackets will be constantly updated on
Challonge as the winners will email the results to ColdStarcraft@gmail.com.
Unless of course you are on stream : )


Cost

The cost for entry is $5 CAD. $2.50 of your entry fee will go to the charity
while the remainder will go directly to cash prizes! The prize money will
stay in your pool. This is to say if 30 code A players sign up, $75 will be
split between the top three players. The split will be 60% for first 30% for

Guys, do note that you need to have an North American Account in order to play. But if you do have the South East Asian Client, you shouldn't have any problems switching to the North American Account for play.
