Came out sometime recently. Haven't been keeping too much up with it. But loved Resi 4, found 5 somewhat enjoyable. And having not kept in touch with it, I have no expectations, so should be enjoyable.

Hoping there's going to be some scares. Resi 4 had some, Resi 5 had none.

Anyone else playing it?

I started playing it on Sunday, and all the worry went away man this installment is AWESOME so far. I had to get used to the new HUD, but everything is very customizable and the dark and creepy environments are back with a pretty epic musical score.

Graphics on par with RE5, and I'm not too sure about the story as I've only just started playing but so happy with it right now.

There are some scares if you got it up loud and play it in the dark, but the creepy atmosphere is what I really wanted and the first campaign certainly has that so far.

As a long time fan of the franchise I'm a happy camper (RE1 Remake / RE4 being my favourite so far, will re-assess after finishing RE6).

Just finished Leon on Veteran.

Came across a door that was locked, and thought "Oh, it looks like I come back here later in the game." Then later in the game I think "Wait, this is like RE5 where there is no backtracking. wtf was in that door." I loved the backtracking in RE1-4. Usually there's a difference when you go back.

Starting Chris now on amateur just so I can plough through it faster.
