Hey all,

I think it's time the little red dot have our second Barcraft after the very successful one done last year by Frogmite at Clarke Quay.

The first Barcraft was in conjunction with the MLG National Championships in Providence. Sadly, timezone differences meant that we were unable to watch the meat of the action as most of the matches occured after the venue's closing time.

Therefore, I'm proposing the next one will be for the GSL Season 2 Finals which will be played on Saturday May 12th 2012, around 5PM. I'll still need to see the feasibility of making this event, as well as to gauge how big an event space we'll need to fit everybody comfortably (our first one was so successful and packed that people had to watch from outside the room).

Let me know if you will be interested in joining this event, and hopefully I'll try my best to make things happen!

PS. If there's anybody willing to sponsor/help out this event, please PM me! Ideas tend to bear fruit earlier if it's not a one-man job!

I've been discussing with the bar management few weeks before and they may authorize us to make again a barcraft at Molly Mallone's, but this time it will be at the 3rd floor, where there is a giant screen, private bar and enough space to hold 80-100 persons.

I'll ask if we can have it for Saturday May 12th 2012 from 5PM to 1AM

I thought finals were moved to May 19th after originally being posted as May 12th?

It's good to be able to work with you again, Sir! We would all appreciate it if we could get Mallone's to open their bigger rooms for us!

If I remember correctly, our first Barcraft had no age limit, however due to obvious reasons those under-18 were not allowed to purchase any alcoholic beverages. It would be my utmost priority to ensure there will be as little restrictions as possible with regards to this issue, after all there's no age limit to being a gamer!

Updates (from my phone):

Molly Mallones agreed to give us the 3rd floor for the barcraft of the 19th May. I'll call them to confirm the timings but i think it shall be good.

They just told me we'll have to limit to 80 persons max. I'll speak with evilswat to decide which bar we go. There will be a thread soon.
