This event is a 128 player competition, single elimination style tournament. $70 prize on offer to the winner, sponsored by Eddie! It will be a monthly tournament
Update: sc2sea will donate $30 from our community donations to increase the tournament prize to $100 so it can be listed on TL!

Details

Date: Sunday, 13th of March, 2011.
Time: 6pm AEST, 3pm SGT
Location: SEA Battle.net region.
Tournament Eligibility: You must be in the Masters or Diamond league (1v1 - SEA license). Diamond players must be above 3000pts, lower players will be disqualified.
How to Sign Up: post your user name, character code, and if diamond how many ladder points below

Prizes: Winner gets the $70 prize and bragging rights for being the best of the best. $20 for 2nd, $10 to 3rd
Battle.net Chat-Channel: "sc2seaMC". If the event is full, the late replacement channel shall be sc2seaMCx

Rules and Regulations

· All results must be PMed to FaDeEdOne in-game.
· Players must be logged into SCII SEA region 15 minutes before their match-up. Players who are 15 or more minutes late will be disqualified, if a replacement cannot be fount their opponent will be given an automatic win.
· If any disconnects occur within the first two minutes of game-play, the match will be replayed. However if the disconnect occurs after two minutes of game-time, then it is up to the discretion of the referee to decide whether; A) the game is to be replayed, or B) player X/Y is to be awarded the win.
· Any disputes will be handled by the GPD admins after reviewing all associated replays.
· Any inappropriate behaviour will result in a disqualification.
· Players must have their own Sea account, playing on a friends is not allowed
. You are allowed to switch races

Map List

The first map of each round is pre-determined and outlined in the following list. The losing player will decide the subsequent map. The map pool is as follows:

Ro128: Xel'Naga Caverns (B01 no 2nd game)
Ro64: Metalopolis (B01 no 2nd game)
Ro32: Shakuras Plateau (B01 no 2nd game)
Ro16: The Shattered Temple (B03)
Ro8: Scrap Station (B03)
Semi-Finals: Typhon Peaks (B03)
Finals: Xel'Naga Caverns (B05) (3rd Place Match Xel'Naga 1st, B03)

Loser can pick from any the following maps:

Xel'Naga Caverns, Metalopolis, Shakuras Plateau, Lost Temple, Blistering Sands, Delta Quadrant, Scrap Station, Slag Pits, Typhon Peaks, The Shattered Temple, Backwater Gulch

* Players are allowed 1 veto each per round. First game cannot be vetoed.
