IGN: Race: League:
Rules:
Games are to be played on the SEA server, yes that's right our lovely laggy server.
Players will be considered a walk over if they have not made contact or reasonable effort to contact their opponent or an admin after a 15min time limit
Prizes:
Currently a $100 prize pool funded by FeDe (Myself) (Donations to increase this are accepted)
This looks good, but I have a criticism which I'm sure will be said again during this thread, it shouldn't be the FeDe open, it should advertise your team. Faith Rising something something.
Also, I don't know what your reasoning is for wanting it to be purely on SEA but many players can't play on SEA because of their ISP, Optus and another (I think, can't remember which) just can't connect to SEA without ridiculous latency issues, why not use the same rules as other tournaments whereby if both parties agree they can play on whatever server they choose?
Food for thought, but regardless, more tournaments = better for SEA.

Signups are closed, seeding has been done, I will release the bracket on stream and in the chat 10mins prior to the start.
Would still love to find and admin or 2 to help with the bracket scoring, if not myself and co caster will need to do it between games, reducing the casted games a lil bit

Players that are pulling out will just be walk overs, i had the cut off as last night as I need to get some stuff done this morning and wanted to be ready for the tournament.
No, I had a firm cut off that was released long ago, sorry if you missed out but brackets are finalised.

Very good tournament to watch, casting was really good for me and the brackets were updated very fast!
As Eddie said, to avoid walkovers you may need to open signups maybe a couple of days before the actual event so there's less of a chance for people to forget.
Another thing might be to include some more rules to clarify things a little better to avoid people getting grumpy.
1,2,3 and rng money has all been sent, appreciate everyone who signed up, played and watched, i apologise for mistakes that have been made and it will be something to work on next time.
Adjustments for next tournament:
LB, later rounds in the lower bracket will be bo3 games
Will add vetoes for bo3 series games
Will have later signups for the tournament, to reduce walkovers
Tournament rules will be more structured eg, deadlines and server
Tournament is to remain drama free, events outside of the tournament will not directly effect the tournament itself

I don't think having a long, grueling LB for an honestly small prize pool is worth it.
Maybe a bo3 from start to semis, and the grand finals a bo5 might be a bit more fair.
Just my two cents.
Edit: The LB is still pretty long when I looked at it earlier, changing it to bo3 (at whichever stage) will just make it longer.
