My main question is where do you stand with ex masters playing in this? what about diamonds that are now gold etc.

We are going to use the distribution suggested by mGG.Nemesis. However, we also feel that it will be up to the disgrestion of teams. If for instance a Ex-Masters who is currently Platinum or Diamond wants to play in a team, it will be up to the managers of the teams to agree to such terms.

We want to make this a fun environment for everyone and that means including people who are often left out of tournaments because of the MMR Decay. My personal opinion is that if a Diamond player was Diamon in Season 1 but for some reason is now Gold in Season 2 he/she would have to be put in the Diamond League.

I think, though once again, it is a decision we felt would be left up to the managers, a Ex-Masters wants to play, he would be put into the Diamond or Platinum immediately.

If Teams feel they have been hard done by because they feel a player is participating at a level above those he is playing against, they can make an appeal to our Tribunal. Our hope is to get some M/GM players to be part of this tribunal which will look into Maphacking/Smurfing allegations.

Clans can put together their own teams. But players can also make up their own teams if they wish. Though a player can not be a member of two teams. So you might want to check if your clan is preparing to put a team forward.

Larger clans can put two teams forward if they wish using smaller clans as well. And Smaller clans may wish to join forces.

Just one thing I will be in Japan from Jan 26th to feb 22nd.

We might enter a team.. My only concern atm is needing 7 players per week out of a pool of 10... that doesnt leave much leg room if people get busy.

In SEACL we had 4 required out of team of 12 over a 2 month period and even then we had walkovers etc.

EDIT: 'Slut' is gamer terminology.. much like a sub. When you play for a team you have no association with. When people go to inter-state LANs but their team can't make it, or they are the only one from that city, they might team up with others in the same situation.

Teams are based on whatever league the player was in last season. Totodile according to FS was Plat last season. If there are any problems with this get your team manager to contact me.

You would have to ask the players and captains of the teams for that opinion. I think there has been a few hiccups, I am excited to do another Season after this one that would iron out the hiccups.

I think it's going fine. The smaller number of teams makes it seem like its going easier than seacl has in the past. I think it's the same with all tourneys/leagues, though, the majority of hiccups are solved by pre-empting situations and including their resolution in the rules - definitive rules on promotions and lack of league match ups due to one team having more promos than another, for example. I'm sure mgg/420nem will be available for next season.

Yeah so far so good, I would compete again for sure and I know AxS would be willing to throw in a team, right SouL?

Seems like it can be difficult with some matches and a few other problems, perhaps we could organise a participant page with each and every players server and ID information, so that way you can just go okay I am playing vs say AxS.SouL, then I can go to said page, look him up and then add him personally via B.net and then organise my own match during the week.. Some people don't have information listed.

This is Team League and not individual battles? So I thought the current 2 teams making a Skype group to get each other to play each other for that bracket works pretty well. All participants should be added in it so that u can find your opponent. Plus captains are around to help ensure contact, decision making and tracking that games are being played. So I think the current system should be fine.

Unfortunately due to IRL circumstances I wasn't able to pay as close attention to the final round of this tournament as I would have liked.

I do not think I will be putting on a playoffs because there is some information that I have lost.

I am in the process of trying to refine some of the problems that took place in this tournament so that I might be able to hold another tournament later in the year.

I apologize to everyone for this abrupt end to what was a really fun tournament.
