Welcome to the First DGSL

Once upon a time there was a Starcraft 2 Nerd name WoLF. This Nerd is the Leader of a Youtube community called Dominion Gaming TV. After having some fun with Starcraft 2 he decided it was time to host a tournament. This was a 5 man

/

Cup with the prize of itunes vouchers. Since then this Starcraft 2 Nerd has grown a bit an made some connections.

Details you ask well let me get this show on the Road

HOLY CASTING BATMAN

So for each group i have arranged a night for it to be cast by one of the many talented Casters of SEA
Streaming will happen for the next 3 Fridays and Sunday with different casters for each day and maybe some return casters if i don't get enough.
Confirmed Casters include
Duckville , Elesory , Water , Lokth

All Streams will be @ the Dominion Gaming Twitch - http://www.twitch.tv/dominiongaminglive

Friday the 19th Casters - Tribe Pandarine and WoLF @ 730 AEDT will be Casting Group D

Sunday the 20th Caster - Elesory @ 5pm AEDT will be Casting Group C

Friday the 25th Caster - Water @ 730 pm AEDT will be Casting Group A

Sunday the 27th Caster WoLF From Replay Group B

Finals weekend has been pushed back to the following week as the players were having problems playing their matches.

Friday the 8th Caster Duckville (back up WoLF) @ 730 pm AEDT Casting the Quarter Finals

Sunday the 10th Caster TBD ( Back up WoLF from replay on Wednesday) Casting Semi Finals 3rd Place and Grand Finals

What?

Dual Tournament format.

Best of 3.

- The 4 players of each group are split into two pairs and play each other. In this case 1 vs 4 and 2 vs 3
- The winners of these matches will then face each other in the Winner’s match.
- The victor places first in the group and advances to the Ro8.
- The losers of the initial matches face each other in the Loser’s match.
- The loser places fourth in the group and will be Eliminated from the DGSL
- The loser of the Winner’s match and the winner of the Loser’s match will face each other in a fifth match.
- The winner gets second place in the group and advances to the Ro8.
- The loser places third in the group and is Eliminated from the DGSL

When?

the DGSL will commence on Monday the 14th of October and go on for 3-4 weeks depending on the progress of the players.
Players will have the week to play their games and the winner sending me the replays named and game number to be cast the following week

Its not really a team tourney its more an individual tourney but the players are from those 4 teams :P

It's basically 4 players from each of the 4 clans/teams who will b fighting it out in group format (e.g. GSL and mGG's GMC)

If i get into this i will try to work my schedule around the others in my group etc for some possible good times to do this....

I'm gunna go ahead and say do it on behalf of him..... i think the exposure idea (with the idea from KnighT would be an excellent way to get this thing kicked off so we can have future ones!)

ally look forward to seeing more of these over the course of the coming year, and I hope this becomes one of the sc2sea "things" like the BPD or BSG weekly tournaments (maybe not weekly, I guess maybe twice a year etc.), but still, it'd be great to bring some more longer term focus on BSG players, as opposed to, "grats on the win, come back next week!" sort of feeling from the weekly BSG :P

You will need to discuss this with your team manager if you are apart of one of the four clans in this tourny. if you aren't then you will be unable to play.

Is there a way to tag members in this forum?? the other forum i helped run you could do @personsname and it can highlight a thread for them to visit? Not sure... anywho....

Group C.... do you want to get together in PM's or on skype and sort out when is the best we can play our games with/against each other?? As you know i am in a way different time zone then others, but i can try to compensate where i can....

I guess Teddy you and i are up against each other first... what days are good for you/times? (starting monday of course)

- Stream info for the next 2-3 weeks
-Player change due to inactivity for group A and C
with Pinelan and Braxeo being replaced by BoardingPear and Sneak respectivly

Also side note all results will be posted for that group after the cast for their group has been done

Can I confirm this is when the next group Is being casted? I'm confused ATM with AUS being silly and ending their DST early and whatnot so not sure about timezone differences anymore. If not, please correct me!!
