Firstly I would like to say that the Phoenix community is very strong and protective of its own. This is not a hoax as some have already stated. I have worked along side Troy "Duxxie" for over a year now and it is a sad time to see him standing down. He will not be leaving pX but merely passing the torch onto myself.
I come from a League of Legends and Call of Duty back ground within the e-sports community. I have run organisation before in the past the biggest of these would be Get Skills Noobz and Girl Gaming. I have very little background in Star Craft but did play a lot of Warcraft III.
Changes; well the only real change is that Troy is stepping down and I am taking his position.
My promise to you the community;
1. To run weekly competitions and pay prizes in a timely fashion. This will obviously be as soon as i have settled into the position and have repaid everything that is currently outstanding.
2. To provide a home for those in the community that are looking for a place that will always be welcoming.
3. Be as honest and transparent as possible to the community and pX many players.
The future of Phoenix;
1. Continue to run Competitions and clan wars the entertain the social following.
2. Provide a constant stream of social media, equipment and game reviews,
3. Set up a LAN in every major city and try my hardest to run one in one of the mjor cities each month.
4. Become one of the leading organisations for e-sports not only in SEA but throughout the world.
Now I understand that this is a hard task to complete all of this but once I have sorted all of the current finances I will start the move towards the future and hopefully with your help we can make this happen.
If you have any further questions please feel fee to contact myself on Skype; px_kiss
Can we get tRoy to confirm this? I think everyone's wary of a new face taking over completely, silly really.
He is constructing an add on to mine as we speak.
As for a new face coming in. I completely understand that and that is why I am trying to be as transparent as possible especially after that whole thing with Satinii hitting the fan and finding its way to the forums.
I am a little confused though. Weren't you the one that was supposed to pay Satiini the money in the first place? And now you are taking over the whole pX sc2 side of things? I think that would leave many people unsure to how legitimate your claims/promises above are :/
However, good luck in your new position.

This, has everyone that has commented on this not realized james is kiss? ._.
Hm, would've been nicer for you to let tRoy say he's standing down first, especially since apparently the whole Satiini saga was your fault and troy saved you from getting the brunt of the ruining might of Satiini "2 dozen" Finland.
Regardless, good luck to pX with your new leader and gl to troy in the future.

Yeah Matt, that whole situation was simply a product of miscommunication, I think most of us know now that Troy shouldn't be held accountable for what Satiini was inferring

Seems like a bucket of empty promises, he added me to skype week ago saying that he would take care of it, he said he would come back to me last friday to talk about it, havent seen him since, if he is really still in pX, then im amazed that you guys still think that even troy is legit, as I said earlier it smells like a typical scam.

Sickest drama initiator EU.
BTW, your fault for getting yourself into situations like this in the first place because you're not doing your research well enough.

funny comment, since every single player there is playing starcraft 2 and making money of it has been in a tournament/team that did not pay for atleast ONCE, but sure its always everyones own fault! turn it around on the players when tournaments and teams dont pay

I'm saying it's your fault because you've got yourself in that situation a lot of times. ^_^

In the start when esports started to get more popular in 2003 there were alot of scammers naturally to take advantage of it, im not the only one who got burned many times back then.

It's a wonder how people like you can even get people to promise them money in the first place.

Really ? then it must be a miracle that 90% of the teams I was in actually paid money, some of them pretty decent even But I guess getting paid for doing something in the gaming industry is foreign to you for some "weird" reason

and i wonder why you're down to joining teams run by teenagers on the other side of the planet.
we get it, you didnt get paid. you can keep telling us every few days that he hasnt paid you(protip: he wont), or you can accept it and go find a new team that wont screw you around.

lol crayon pop. you telling people not to de-rail a thread is pretty funny. satiini might not have presented his original case in the best way but he's providing further updates/queries on the situation related to this thread. You on the other hand trolling him for no good reason.. okay
I've begun to be rather contempt towards James. I was irked straight away that some seemingly random guy just became the official manager of Phoenix, despite nobody from sc2 knowing him (and none of us really know any of the CoD crew either, maybe a few exceptions...but I didn't even know we had a cod group) and the fact that he was heavily implicated in, if not largely responsible for, this whole Satiini fiasco.
Despite my frustrations I thought sure give him ago, but the post in this thread has been all the information we have received. He (i'm not sure if intentionally) has dodged most of my direct questions on skype and has just continued to give vague goals for the future without any sort of action of direct plan being provided. Like seriously, James aims to make Phoenix "one of the best organisations in the world"... tell me what you intend to do on the short term and build to that.
Basically i'm pretty dissapointed in how this transition has occurred and have officially distanced myself from the organisation. James didn't answer any inquiries we had on the night this occured and hasn't been online or (from what I can tell) tried to contact anybody since then.
I do not see Phoenix moving anywhere in SC2.

I think many points have been made and many of them valid from both sides. Mistakes have been made and highlighted etc. At this point of time, it really is still a matter between Satiini and pX (whether troy or kiss/james) to resolve.
Adding more fuel to fan the fire or repeating points already mentioned and discussed before, is not going to be very helpful and could possibly do more harm than good at this point, no matter how frustrating it might be for others not directly involved, to be reading all this. I think the insights from pX members themselves had been enlightening since they are too, affected by this situation. (#banditforpresident) ^_^
I think most people do hope that the matter will be resolved between both parties so do have a thought before making your next post, comment or remark. Constructive contributions towards resolving the matter, would of course, still always be appreciated.

All the best to the new management at pX. Hopefully you'll at least make good on your promises regarding Satiini's salary and the prize money issues that you've had in the past.
