Reason: Added Awesomeness!
It is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you will not be imperiled in a hundred battles; if you do not know your enemies but do know yourself, you will win one and lose one; if you do not know your enemies nor yourself, you will be imperiled in every single battle.

Ladies and gentlemen. The MoK team is proud to announce our second player invited to the MoK invitational! Exile 5's Jared "PiG" Krensel! Good luck, have fun, and we will see you tomorrow for yet another player update.

@pX'Wally. I can't say if there will be any Korean players as that would be spoiling the surprise. Just keep your eyes and ears peeled as we announce a new player invited every day. ^_^
@eCKo`Zenabi. Thanks very much! We felt so too, so we're really trying to make this our best tournament yet.

Following some intense skirmishing with his unfriendly neighbours to the north, our next player has hung up his fatigues and will grace us with his presence once again. A regular of MoK, he is:
Another day. Another player. Given his past services to the Masters Of Koreign, and his regular participation and multiple top 3 finishes it just wouldn't be an MoK tournament without him. Our next player is.
Today's player announcement should come as no surprise to people. He has played tirelessly in our tournament recently and is the only player with 2 Masters Of Koreign tournament wins other than Havoc. Today's player is:

Ladies and gentlemen! It's been a while, and after a week of silence and a weekend of being awestruck by WCS, it's time for an announcement.
Some good news and bad news in the build up to the MoK Invitational this weekend.
First, the good news. Nv.Rossi has been named as the Wild Card entrant to the Hong Kong International! His opponent in the first round will be EG.HuK. Best of luck mate!
The bad news? Due to a clash in schedules Rossi has had to withdraw his candidacy from the MoK Invitational. It's a sad day for us after his really positive attitude towards the tournament, even going out of his way to help out with the fundraiser by participating in fan-showmatches where he launched a 12-nuke holocaust upon our dear AxS.Kumo. (Had to mention it)
All is not lost however, as a replacement has readily come forward to take his place in Group A.
In unrelated good news, we have also confirmed 20 game keys that will be given away after every match through the tournament so keep an eye on Twitter and Facebook, and of course. twitch.tv and you could be in with a chance to win!
All the best and see you soon!

Ladies and gents, apologies for the delay in this post. The time is nearly upon us for the fundraiser, and I for one, as the only person running it, have been, and will be VERY busy preparing, streaming, and recovering. Therefore, during the stream, 4 more players will be announced and seeded into the MoK Invitational!
Look forward to it! Stay awesome!

The nightmare is over, and my ordeal has ended! Thanks to everyone who joined in and made the event a success Donations are still open as anything people are kind enough to give us will go towards not only this tournament, but future ones too.
Several amazing prizes were given away including the chance to play some fun games with ToD, coaching with PiG, and even autographs from BoxeR and Nestea!
We have one final donation left. A 6-month subscription to the grandmaster manual worth $39.90 which has kindly been donated by Nirvana.
How To Win
You may elect yourself, or another person to win the subscription! To make your selection simply respond in this thread giving the following information:
The name of the person you wish to nominate (This person must be a registered member of the SC2SEA forums)
A reason this person deserves/needs the subscription.
I nominate AxS.Kumo. I think he could definitely use it, and he's becoming more active within the community and although he bites people and is generally physically abusive he's alright and could do something with it.

SEA - means I'm pretty awesome
I elect myself!!... I am from Canada... a working guy 12hr a day..... i come home and try to play maybe an hour or two of starcraft each day, but its hard with my schedule having a 13month old child and wife to balance time with as well. The only true time i have to play the game are on saturdays which are my "sleep in days"... where i get to sleep in to 9am if i can.... However i chose to use that time for BSG's. For SC2SEA its a 8PM start.. for me its 6AM...
I would do z33k, but nothing fits with my schedule... this is usually my best opportunity to play in any sort of established, well run tournament settings at my skill level.
Plus im always looking to improve!
Edit: I woke up at 4am to take a chance in the MoK qualifier #Dedication

The next 4 players entering the Masters Of Koreign Invitational are:
There are three invitaitonal spots remaining. All of whom shall be named during the Masters Of Koreign Invitational Qualifier this weekend. Tune in and hear it first live on stream, or even sign up and get involved now!

i totally nominate myself and/or pX.troy
We are both low level players (i was plat in WoL but have managed to drop as low as bronze now thanks to having the wrong race selected in my ranked match last night, and coz im shit and dont know builds - normally mid-high gold tho)
WHY should he or i have this you ask!? because regardless of our abysmal sc2 skill, we selflessly dedicated our weekends to help run the ACL Melb SC2 touney (I also gave up my weekends for ACL Bris and WCS)
congratulations to Narse, well deserved! One of the most dedicated, it's not easy to wake up at 5am to take part in tournaments.. It's hard enough for me at 11, yet Narse pulls it off 6 hours earlier than I do, even with a baby to take care of!
Hope you can use it well Narse!

And two of the casters have been confirmed for the event!
Ladies and gentlemen. A huge thank you to TCP.Lemminks (with TragicHero observing) and FS.Flamga for running two of the three remaining streams I'm waiting on confirmations from two more casters/observers to take their space in the event. When I get a confirmation I will be posting their name in this thread for all to see.
We still need some co-casters however, so if you would like to nominate someone, or would like to volunteer yourselves for the position then please let us know asap and we will try to fit you in.

And yet more casters join the tournament. Check the OP for details of where to tune in on the 31st

Following a request from insano, Group A's casting team is now complete Insano will be co-casting with Flamga while observing. Hell yeah! Sorry to anyone who wanted to apply for the spot and to IXL.Runamok and Ecko.Switch who previously expressed interest in the event. We will gladly welcome doing a collab tourny later.
For now though, barring a divine intervention, our casting team is complete!

Some bad news unfortunately as Moonglade has had to step out of the tournament. Not to worry though as fray.Petraeus has stepped forward to test his mettle and dedication by taking Moonglade's place in Group A! Best of luck!

After everything is said and done, we have finished our tournament, and we have our champion.
Final Standings
1st) Arthur - $300, 150 SEA Power Ranking Points
2nd) Iaguz - $125, 100 SEA Power Ranking Points
3rd) PiG - $50, 75 SEA Power Ranking Points
4th) Petraeus - $25, 50 SEA Power Ranking Points
Top 8) Hwangsin, MightyKiwi, Poker, Myuu - 15 SEA Power Ranking Points
Thanks to the admins (Heady, dots, Kumo, BlueS) the other casters (Insano, Duckville, Flamga, Lemminks, Lokth, Fenner, Koreign) who made day 1 such a success. Day 2 ... for anyone who was watching, we'll chalk it up to experience and learn some valuable lessons from it. Thanks also to Dignitas Odee for his kind donations to our tournament, Incontrol for his words of encouragement, and to Fusion Slugs, Ben Dreihuis, Alex Duckham, and Zenabi and Ecko E-sports for their donations making this event possible. Thanks to PiG, Rossi, and ToD for giving up their time during the fundraiser to participate in coaching and fan games, and a thank you to everyone who watched.
Today a special thank you to Iaguz and PiG for their patience, particularly Iaguz who not only waited for his semi-final opponent to cancel, but remained patient until the end of the Masters Cup before playing in his finals game, and even took part in custom games with stream viewers to help streamline the waiting time. Huge props to you sir! You have our thanks.
Mad props also today for the 60-100 people who watched throughout and kept us going, even during the frustrating downtime of Day 2. We will be releasing a replay pack once we have received the games from Petraeus and Hwangsin which we did not have the opportunity to stream, and finish labelling the remainder of the replays. Thank you.
GG WP See you next time.
