GSL/OSL are now WCS Korea and will be broadcast by OGN/GOM. It will be separated into Premier League (Code S), Challenger League (Code A) and Qualifiers. GOM/OGN however can still run other leagues such as Blizzard Cup. GSTL/Proleague are unaffected. Tastosis, Wolf and Khaldor will cast the same leagues as usual while DoA and montecristo (OGNs LoL casters) will cast from OGN's side.

And yeah. I don't think it's completely unrelated at all, from what I gathered OSL is part of the WCS tournament structure thing so it'd make sense to allow foreign fans to view it whereas previously OSL was a korean only affair
