Starting Kendo here in Brisbane. Looks pretty fun and experience seems to matter more than age.

EDIT: And I read my previous comment and it did not make much sense. It just means that an old kendo fighter (some are even 70) is most likely to beat a 20-30 year old even though he is weaker physically

1st Dan black belt in Tae-Kwon-Do. However, even as a white belt, I always felt the need to perfect my needed skills before I tried to advance to the next stripe/belt. As a result of this, I spent 13 years getting my black belt. But it was worth it.
