The winner of The Silicon Sports Challenge will receive:

One hour of professional coaching AND a beta key for Heart of the Swarm!

The top two players will receive immediate entry into the Silicon Sports Cup (December 20, 2012)

COMMENTATORS

The event will be commentated by Silicon Sports' very own Lalor 'rezyn8' McMahon and Glenn 'Psynapse' Jones! Andrew 'deadpixel' Hack and Jason 'Meatex' Wright will also round out the casting team to bring you all of the action on two streams!

RULES

Format

• Single Elimination Tournament
• Each round is a Best of 1
• Semi Finals and Finals are Best of 3

Map Pool
The first map of each round is pre-determined and outlined in the following list and labelled in the brackets. With the exception of the Semi-Finals & Grand Final, all rounds are a Best of 1.

Ro64: WCS Cloud Kingdom (Round 1 :: Bo1 no 2nd game)
Ro32: WCS Ohana (Round 2 :: Bo1 no 2nd game)
Ro16: WCS Entombed Valley (Round 3 :: Bo1 no 2nd game)
Ro8: WCS Anitga Shipyard (Round 4 :: Bo1 no 2nd game)
Semi-Finals: GSL Metropolis (Best of 3 series)
Grand Final: GSL Whirlwind (Best of 3 series)

For the Semis and the Grand Final, the loser of the first match can pick from any the following maps:
WCS Cloud Kingdom, WCS Daybreak, WCS Ohana, WCS Anitga Shipyard, WCS Entombed Valley, GSL Metropolis, GSL Whirlwind

Qualification

• You must be Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum.
• You must have placed in the current season on SEA

Wow, 4 guarenteed mGG team kills in the bracket so far TT. Sometimes challonge just does things really stupidly too, with the second round seeding instead of just having everyone in first round. Still, more tourneys the better!

Angel has signed up for her first tournament... although she has a quick doctors appointment (~20 minutes) after the first few rounds. Hoping she can be allowed to dash for a little while without a forfeit!

Thankfully due to my extensive experience as a BSGCL Admin, I can use those many hours and priceless memories to grab them clues in the above image to piece together evidence to a logical conclusion the way others might struggle too. It might seem "inhuman" how high level my BSG analysis is but I assure you I am human, it's just due to the countless hours spent in BSG tournament admin.

Now see, what you got there is a points tanker. High ranked smurfer pretending to be a low rank like a d-bag.
