Yes, as the title suggests, Carnage eSports need a new jersey - and we want to give the community the chance to design one for us.
As for the design brief - Stick to our team colours (Red, Black, Grey/white, Razer Green) or experiment with something new. Utilise our team sponsor logo's in the design - along with a section that shows the Team (eg: StarCraft 2, FIFA, etc) and our country of origin (99% Australian Team), and of course - the player IGN or gamer tag. For the Jersey - we will most likely utilise the Razer shirts, so I'm looking for a jacket or hoodie - preferably a zip front light weight kinda hoodie.
As for your reward - you will be happy with the knowledge that you help out eSports! but Also, I'm sure I have a bundle of Razer goodies to give away, and can assure the winner a Razer DeathAdder mouse along with any other little treats I can gather from our various sponsors...
Additionally, you'll notice a new few new logo's in the zip I've attached to this post, I'll have a formal announcement about some new sponsors shortly, when the final details are sorted out. ^_^
Thanks
EDIT - the file with the logo's is too big.. Dox has offered to host the files on his own site.. they are downloadable at http://www.sea-play.com/carnage/logos.rar
Thanks Dox
By entering the competition, you relinquish any intellectual property rights of the design you submit. The winner of the competition may have their design slightly altered to suit the needs of Carnage eSports. There may be no winner if no adequate design is submitted. Sponsor logos and Australian flag on the shoulders in the form of a sew-on patch (otherwise there won't be sufficient detail if you print it). Also there are a few options like adding a clan tag to the name on the back, or adding the game name under CARNAGE on the shoulder instead of the E-SPORTS bit (so it could say CARNAGE STARCRAFT).

This design is simple and therefore easily adaptable to any type of shirt. I've provided for demonstration purposes a simple shirt but it could easily be adapted to a jacket, hooded jacket, polo shirt, sports shirt or whatnot.
Colours can be adapted or modified to produce a more appealing design. The areas I have left free for sponsors are both sleeves and the back of the shirt so feel free to move around, recolour or otherwise modify the different sponsor logos and their positions on the shirt if you feel it would improve the final product.

I think the "C" should be swapped so the front is on the back.
also a cooler font for the name
Also I think the C cutting across the front may look odd on a jacket or hoodie with a zip down the front.
The design is simple enough that the addition of a zip would do no harm, the glowing text could be replaced by a simple white outline to make way for the black "carnage" text and the text could be resized to slightly smaller to make way for a zip. I do not see the above concerns as an issue, not even in the slightest.

Possibly.

Yea that's just standard sans, but a font isn't a hard thing to change, the basic concept is already there.
Yah I like gentleman's too I was considering almost the exact same design before but when I realised it's not going to be on a shirt and will most likely be a zip jacket or hoodie the design seemed less appealing. Not sure how it would look when unzipped or crumpled as you see hoodies and jackets go compared to a nice straight shirt like a sports jersey. One of those things that might need to be seen on an existing jacket rather than just on paper if someone can find one.

Keep in mind most printers only stock basic single colour apparel. Any design with multiple base colours will most likely be special orders or custom made - either of which will significantly drive the production cost up.
How much were you looking to spend on the jackets per?
Going to throw in some Razer Shirts to some of the other stand out designs. Thanks so far for those that have contributed - I look forward to more designs.. The competition will run two more weeks.
Yo - This competition will close mid-night of the 24th. Carnage eSports management will then take a few days to discuss the winner of the jersey design before having them printed.
If you are hoping to submit a last minute design (I'm looking at you Welshy and UHF...) Then you have till then!..
Thanks to those that have taken the time to submit something so far. If you'd like a crack at designing this for us the check out the info in the OP or msg me on Skype - : nicolasjrusso
A few tweeks will be made to the design over the next few days - I'll post up the final design before its sent off to the printers for you all too see..
