Protoss Micro Intensive Strategies

Hi everyone!
I'm trying to improve my micro, but it came to me that I don't know very many micro intensive strategies, as I usually take fast 3rds and go into late game, but I want to become more aggressive and dynamic, like HuK. Can anyone provide me with some strategies vs each race?
I know strategies such as
PvP- blink obs
PvZ- 7g blink, 8gate..
PvT- colossi timing pushes (?)

I basically want to force myself to use micro intensive strategies to improve, though i'll probably get raped a lot in the beginning
PS. I am high masters
Thanks in advance!

1. Add in a warp prism into all of your games, you can get it right after your obs,
PvP may be a bit hard so more PvZ and PvT, drop your opponents and engage his natural / 3rd while keeping up your macro

2. Go blink before charge in PvT so you'll be forced to utilize it well to win engagements and snipe units/drops

3. In 200/200 PvT wars, keep 4 HTs in a warp prism to go along with your army

Guess my advice is not so much on the strategies but more of how you can add to your game through unit control! Every strategy will be more effective with better unit control and micro.

Thanks I will definitely try out the prism and blink. However Axslav mentioned more assertive players like HuK and NaNiWa use a lot of 2 base timings in their game, I'm curious to know what are those timings and strategies used?

Ah I think I get what you mean. I believe their style is more aggressive compared to other tosses who turtle more. I think this involves more gateway heavy armies and confidence in their forcefields. I would say MC is even more assertive in that sense, he moves out with 1 zealot and 6 sentries with no fear, and he is the king of 2 base all ins which are similar to what you mentioned in your original post if you're looking for those kinda strategies.

If you wanna watch really assertive PvZ play i suggest you watch Hero's games/stream. He controls the game against zerg by dragging the zerg army around with his warp prism(s) and air units.

His most micro-intensive strategy would be the dropping of sentries into zerg's main then forcefielding the ramp continuously for like 2 minutes while warping units in and keeping his sentries alive. You could try that. After adding in robo add a lot of gates and have 4 sentries ready for the pick up once your warp prism is out. Then sneak your warp prism into zerg's main by the ramp and once u drop keep ff-ing. If you can do that well and successfully all the time I'm pretty sure your micro is gonna be awesome by then!

Ah yes that's exactly what i'm looking for Simple strategies but rely heavily on micro to be effective. I know it's an RTS game and I would love to learn more tactics but I really enjoy the reward of micro
Thanks for the help !
Do you recommend any strategies for PvP though?

pheonixes, really good for micro and multitasking
in PvP you can do huk's 3 gate pheonix build.

another build i like and is very micro intensive is CombatEX's proxy collosus drops, vs zerg or terran. You proxy a robo, get warp prism and support bay, once its done warp prism speed and collosus, keep making a pair of a warp prism and a collosus to constantly drop harass in multiple parts of his base. Once you get 3 pairs it becomes really hard to micro all three of them as well as your rest of your army while still keeping up with your macro

Darglein Micro Trainer is a great map to improve your micro in many situations, and you can scale it to push yourself to the limits constantly increasing the difficulty.
Another thing to improve your micro/multitasking is starting to use screen location hotkeys, maybe you already do, but if you don't then you really should.

Implementing warp prism for multipronged attacks is definitely a great idea.

I'm not gonna suggest any specific build as the ones mentioned here already are great, but just try to be able to use more and more complex armies, such as being able both forcefield, blink and storm efficiently in a midgame battle, stuff like this.
So yeah, more phoenixes, warp prisms, and high templars.

Micro

I think something that nobody has mentioned that is important is the hotkeys for your army.
i use a 4 hotkey army

1 - zelots, centry, colossus (only when i have storm), archons
2 - stalkers
5 - templar / colossus
6 - obs

definately raises ur apm and amount of clicks used to control your army.

I hate when i accidently have 2 templar hotkeyed with my centries.... try dropping clutch forcefields and computer thinks im trying to feedback. ive lost so many games like that.

The PvZ 7g +2 Blink stalker allin relies a ridiculous amount on micro and choosing your engagements, look into trying this cause it will help your engagements and general ff control

I like it, it's like a 4gate +1 but the units just keep coming and coming and the zerg gets caught unawares... not much micro though

The core high-micro things for Protoss are Blink Stalkers, warp prisms and phoenixes. Try to incorporate those into your builds. If you're looking for a pure-micro build, blink stalker all-ins are the way to go.

I've started using this hotkey setup, and it's great for micro. 8 different army hotkeys, 3/4/5 for a-move parts, T/G/B for casters and E/R for harass groups.
