Tournament Eligibility:
You must be in the Bronze, Silver or Gold league (1v1 - SEA license) and you must be active on ladder.
Everyone will be checked for typical smurf activity designed to keep them in a lower league.
You must contact your opponent on Battle.net preferably by being in chat channel "sc2seaBSG" to play your match
You have ~15 minutes to start your Round 1 match; anybody that is not contactable after 10 minutes will be disqualified. This 10 minute timeout rule applies throughout the tournament.
Tournament admins or official streamers are always allowed and the only ones to observe your game
There is no switching of race during the tournament.
Problems/Questions: When in doubt about anything, contact an admin
Reporting Results: After the match has been played, you must report the result by pm to an admin
Disconnects: If a player disconnects, the game must be replayed. If a player disconnects for a second time, his opponent will be awarded a free-win. A win may also be awarded if the player that disconnected was significantly behind at the time of disconnection. Contact an admin if you would like your game/replay reviewed.
Pauses: You must notify your opponent in game if you wish to pause. This pause should not exceed 5 minutes. Excessive pausing in game may lead to disqualification.
Bad Manner will not be tolerated. Anyone caught BMing will be warned. Further offenses will lead to disqualification. Any racist, hateful or excessively derogatory language may lead to removal without warning. We are a friendly group and I'd like to see it stay that way.
Replays: Should be saved at least until the following tournament. Anyone asked by admins to provide a replay who cannot do so will be disqualified.

Hi,
Im new to this. Bronze terran here. A few questions, can we choose maps before the match or is it chosen for us? Can we veto certain maps if we are not confident with them?

Usually first map for each round is predetermined and when you get to the rounds that are Best of 3 sets.. loser picks from the map pool - no veto's (After the predetermined map). But Idk exactly what the guys are doing here.. but that is the norm...
its good to expose yourself to maps your not familiar with and gain further experience on them!! Hope you play on Saturday!
Good Luck! ^_^

Argh but league resetted and if i ladder some more i might jump to plat =(. Only played to games yesterday and jumped rather high in gold league.
If that happens, congratulations! And you can always enter the GPD Opens
If you sign up when you are gold, then are promoted in the few days before the tournament (and you let us know), we're generally happy for you to still play
Thanks to Suipr and his team of casters and admins for yet again an awesome tournament, was imo enjoyed by all!!
And thanks to all who played tonight, especially those from the lower leagues who made some awesome games
Congratulations once again go to FaDeMuss showing his protoss skills and going back to back in the weekly BSG!FaDeMuss demonstrated some different play this week from last tournament, concentrating on building up a chargelot archon ball then overwhelming his opponents in every game leading up to the finals with a superior army, generally off two bases.
His opponent in the grand final was another zerg player this week; HGYsecurity playing a close fought ZvZ semi final against Borg to advance into the match.
The grand final set saw some variation out of FaDeMuss coming up against the strong zerg where he showed us his voidray/colossis play in game 2 then a one base all in to take the grand final 3 - 0 on Cloud Kingdom.
Congratulations to FaDeMuss and HGYsecurity who qualify for the BSGCup to be held on March 4th and a big thank you to all of the 64 players this week. I hope you all had a good time and Asrathiel and I look forward to seeing you again next week.
Thanks breadfan and Venom for the cast which can be found here. There are some sound issues plaguing the early games but the finals are all leveled and well worth a watch if you want to skip through to them.
