Zanooku, AKA AZKziek is a starcraft 2 player that has been bad-mannered on repeat occasions. His bad-manner can be seen especially well in chat channels he participates in while online, or in his forums posts, which have caused him to be banned on multiple occasions.
Usually when he must retort and has no reasonable reply, he results to stating how high his rank is, despite how irrelevant it may be to the arguement.
Although he may seem like hes trying to be a badass in his posts, events that have taken place at certain LAN events suggest otherwise.
(I should make an account called SEA_joke_explainer lolol)
Not sure if glitch or if trust earnt, but hai guyz.
EDIT: Guess I better be on my best behaviour.
you seemed like a nice guy when we first met on the sea server. both fighting for our first gm spot.
being an ass to random people doesn't make anybody feel good in the end and there's always time to change your ways. best of luck gaming~
With no shame, I find him a good friend (online ofc) and maybe I hope he stops "trying" to be a troll (you can be really nice dude..and you improved in your skill alot too lately!) and just be who you are man. People won't hate you if you just stay who you are instead of trying to be a online xxxxxx which you are not!
It was sad that one time, I was talking to a hacker's clan mates I found suspicious (not gonna name him) and resulted to be indeed map hacker, I got massively attacked when I mentioned Zanooku also providing evidence and words (Ofc I didn't just mention him. Also mentioned other people).
You can build back your reputation imo. Just be who you are and stop trolling bro!

I think I remember that, did you end up getting GM aswell?

his sole purpose of posting this thread is to troll. dont give him any more replies. he's probably just laughing at his desk reading all these replies.
come on guys. his sole purpose of posting this thread is to troll. dont give him any more replies. he's probably just laughing at his desk reading all these replies.
Hows he trolling mate?
Hes re-introducted himself by asking if he'd earnt someones trust back or if it were a bug, and people have replied with a casual friendly discussion.
If anyones a troll here its dweebs like yourself who think hes sitting back laughing at friendly banter.

I say give him a small chance. At first glimpse of trouble, just report him and he'll probably be back on the permanent ban.
That being said, welcome back. Now be nice everybody. Although his the "biggest troll on SEA", I can still infract you for personal attacks or any other infractable comments.

It's an i not an L!
Well riiChard, we all know a massive heartfelt apology will come off as insincere, and empty, without promise.
That's why my idea was an E-Community Service type act that would actually prove something, rather than just the words that can easily be interpreted as entirely shallow and a "pack of lies".
Would be pretty awesome if you could carry a newly reformed attitude here AND on twitch stream chats too.
What do you suggest doing for "eCommunity Servce"? I'm honestly intrigued.
1 Step at a time. :P
(That was the idea though, I'm not just going to stop being an a$$ here then start indulging elsewhere, that would defeat the entire purpose of being nicer...)
I'm not 100% sure yet. I had a few ideas (offering help to the lower level players, acts of that nature).
Feel feel to give me ideas.
EDIT: I contemplated hosting my own tournament (or another CnZ, remember that? When I actually "helped"...), but at the same time I don't want to come off as someone who is "buying" friends / forgiveness.
That being said, if that's what it takes...

I feel like that vid of him claiming that none of the posts online were done by him when confronted by light & lost and then crapping himself when KJH, who he was ridiculously racist to online, walks up to him causing zanooku to look like a 9 year old about to cry when his parents are yelling at him would be pretty relevant to this thread.
Why the **** is anyone saying to give this kid another chance? I told him to calm his shit down, and figured after the incident at QLD lan he would, but he didn't and you're all ready to welcome him back?
"Incident at QLD LAN"
I honestly don't know anything about this can you please elaborate?
As far as my history with the man goes, he's been a troll.
We let banned players (maphackers etc) back into the community... is trolling really worse?
It's been elaborated plenty in this thread; I've never supported letting maphackers back into the community (never will), and trolling to the extend he has is ridiculous. Spamming racism, hateful messages, etc. Shouldn't be tolerated. He's had plenty of chances.

If someone was given about 10 second chances from hacking, and every single time he instantly comes back and map hacks, how many times before we finally ban him forever?

Trolling is different to being plain rude, insulting and racist. Not to mention this wouldn't be the first "second chance" he's been given.

Azz had a chance at this one point in the game where he had a nexus and 6 probes. But he found a way to **** it up from there 3 times in a row - Iaguz
I think some people here are kind of missing the point. I'm not asking for a second chance at all. I'm asking for the opportunity to earn a chance, and possibly the respect of those who so desire to.
And for the record, no Revenant, I've never hacked in SC2. Custom DotA games yes, but never SC2. (Haven't even stream cheated...)
imo - give him the chance to earn a place in the community back - if he is legitimately sorry for what he's said - write and apology as step 1.
Step 2 would be talking about what you can do to give back to the community.
then give back..
All the while, sitting on a 1 strike and your out.. permanently no more other chances, regardless of how sincere you might be.
IMO maphacking is very different from trolling. i dont think these 2 incidents should be compared
He's done both. And please DO NOT associate him with 'trolling'. Trolling shouldn't have any insults(or at the very most, a bare minimum) layered with it. His actions were just plain insults "that will make Hardened Internet Users go whoaaaaaaaaaah"(Quoted from Maynarde)

Yeah you havent changed, anyone who meets you on ladder should realise this. Go play on NA, then you'll just be some average kid who rages at a computer screen.
I think the last mod banned him on this account for like 6 months cause it was his first account. And we never went back to update the ban when it should have been updated to a permanent ban like his other accounts.
Closed thread, and banned again.
2. The question of unbanning
Zan is one of the 7 out of about 8,000 users that are indefinitely banned from SC2SEA. Basically most people who break the rules get warnings/infractions/bans but they get lifted when we recognize change in their behavior, or if they admit their mistake and show their willingness not to break the rules again. We are lenient and very reasonable people like that and thats why there are only 7 indefinitely banned users in the first place. The people who remained banned are the ones who have been given many chances but refuse to change the way they act, and who continually show disrespect to the rules / admins / mods and do not follow the rules.
My few interactions with Zan since his ban have been unpleasant, and I have heard this from many other sources as well who have experienced the same after interacting with him recently. I am very lenient by mod standards (if not Zan would not have been given like 8 chances before permanently banned) and I don't believe in "a ban for the rest of your life" because people do grow up and mature but rather an "indefinite ban" with a very small possibility of reversal. However, I feel Zan has NOT changed at all in his behavior so now is not the time to lift it. When he grows older and more mature and starts treating people with some basic human respect, I might revise my decision but for now he appears to be nowhere near that stage. So how long that takes will depend on him, and if he continues to persist in his current behavior it could very well be never.
